Absolute emotional song. The first guitar solo at the highest volume in my headphones takes me in another planet, then Freddie's voice awakes me for a moment singing beautiful words. Epic
does anyone know where I could find guitar chords to match the vocal part of this song? I'm happy to say I've learned the solo sections to it and wouldn't mind being able to include freddie's spine-chilling vocals in performance of it :)
The awesome sound Brian gets out of that guitar is almost as magical as Freddie's gorgeous voice. No wonder Queen is the greatest band on the planet!!!
Um...I know Freddie loved all his cats, But in the book I have he talks about Delilah a lot. To be honest when I first heard this song, I thought it was about Jim, but later I heard Jim say Freddie asked him to leave, but he didn't leave,
@queenofhearts321 Bijou" is nothing to do with Freddie's cats, he didn't even have a cat named Bijou. This song is some kind of a prelude to The Show Must Go On.
Delilah was Freddie's favorite cat and he dedicated song "Delilah" to her.
@bijou201 I agree. Delilah was his favorite cat and he had no cat named Bijou to my knowledge. I also agree that this song is a prelude to The Show Must Go On. "Delilah" had a very jovial mood but this song has sincere sadness not making a lot of sense as to why the contrast in tones regarding his cats. So I don't think this is about his cat either.

Yep-it's about his cat Bijou. I think the song 'Delilah' is also about a cat. He loved cats, but Bijou was his favourite!

Actually Delilah was his favorite cat!

I somehow don't think he would be singing about being lovers forever if the song were about his cat...I know the cat's name was Bijou...but...
tibia88984 3 years ago
Nonsense! His favorite cat was Delilah and the song about Delilah is called Delilah and not Bijou!

@doctorgsja Yes most definitely.
