Only comman thing they have is the same world. From what ive understand the Story is completely own in each and olso it looks like Versus is based on more of an "present time" as FFXIII looks to be more of an "Future" Square really likes to confuse its fans doesent it? :D

They happen at the same time, Versus has less tech because the prince's (the protagonist) country dosen't go to war over crystals (uz they already have 1) so dosen't need war machines

Acully the Fabula Nova Crystillis is made a by a FF team and Versus is made by the Kingdom Hearts team so it may have some similarites but ive nether played KH cos it looks shit.
