What is all this stupid Germany bashing about? Where would all those corrupt southern nations be without all the German money they receive via Brussels???!!!
They wouldn't even have anything that could "fail". Sarrazin is right, let them go broke and start again with a clean slate - there is no way Germany won't pay for it anyway! And since that is so, wouldn't it be better to finance a proper new start, than to bail out the reigning corruption?!
this woman is misrepresenting the facts...greece does have a high rate of tax evasion, people go into retirement very early, a high percentage is state employed...its a "what can the state do for us" mentality...against the free market....if a debtor is going to default, let them default, deal with the consequences but dont postpone them and make everything much worse!!!!!!!!!
"against the free market" - so Greece is against the *Free market*? How, is early retirement or tax evasion against the free market? In fact 0% income tax is what I hear most trumped by 'free market' religious fundamentalists.
Did you have just read every persons mind in Greece and aggregate their conciousness ? Because that's what you would have had to do to have made this funny statement: "what can the state do for us [mentality]".
@CmdrTobs Maybe you should read a post thoroughly before you try to rip it apart! How about you go back, read what I wrote and check where the sentences end. Clearly, what I wrote is they have an anti free market mindset, which means "you do the crime, you do the time". They all profited and now they dont want to pay the price and cry for help. And please, before you try to ridicule someone, make sure you understand what the person wrote, otherwise it'll come around to bite you. Cheers!
Oh noes!!!11,I misunderstood, oh please I beg your forgiveness, NOT lol
What I said remains. Btw I did not "ridicule" you I don't know were you got that definition of the word from.
I understood your tripe, my response remains. How do you know, without national cognitive omnipresence of the Greek nation, certainly that they have "an anti free market mindset"?
Quite funny as its obvious that its YOU who couldn't comprehend my response. You just repeated the tripe I responded to initially! haha
seriously, max is such a fool. I wish he would make up his mind. Before obamacare passes, he bashed americans for being against socialism, he bashes american for allowed 40k people to die a year in the health care "holocaust" as he calls it. and says the health care industry was against the health care bill
Then when healthcare passes, he realized OH this bill actually sucks and that the health care industry actually supports the bill, but will max apologize to the american people? i doubt it
forget apologize will he even admit he was wrong when he bashed the tea party for opposing the health care bill. max really has some inconsistent opinions. I guess thats the way you have to be when your a gullable sucker leftist
@AmericanBNPfriends i agree sort of, he makes some mistakes, but he's not scared to report anything and he is dead on with a lot of things, so just like alex jones, he might not be perfect but at least he speaks his mind and sparks very serious debate about corruption etc. and i agree he should have way more than 8000 subscribers. altho i watch his videos without subscribing.
I wouldn't say Max is a fool. It's more a reflection of our foolish system. Overall, the healthcare reform is a scam, for the gov't to get a new pool of money to double-book and steal from (now that Social Security is tapped dry) and for the insurance companies to get new customers at the point of a gun.
But there are good things in there too. Like the IC's cant take your money for years, and drop you when you need it. (The whole point of insurance).
@funkdafresh Ok i mean fair enough. Max is smart on some issues, but his leftist tendencies really make him have to eat some crow on multiple occasions, which he never admits too either. really annoying when someone like max or alex jones only tells half of the truth
Assignats were paper money issued by the National Assembly in France during the French Revolution. The assignats were issued after the confiscation of church properties in 1790 because the government was bankrupt. The government thought that the financial problems could be solved by printing certificates representing the value of church properties. These church lands became known as biens nationaux. Assignats were used to successfully retire a significant portion of the national debt .
There are three types of relationships, dependent, independent and interdependent. You are kidding yourself if you believe the EU system is an interdependent system. It is not. If fact, it is a take-over that could have not been made through war in the past centuries.
The Drachma Greece used 'thousands' of years ago was made of precious metal, these days it's not made of any precious metal, so is the same as any other 'fiat' ponzi scheme currency that will collapse like every other 'fiat' ponzi scheme currency will imo
QuasiConvexAnalysis is a agent every time u bring up points that kill his lil agenda he insults you and cant speak to u cause he says ur dumb and the only plp he has on his subscriptions is the plp he is hating on and yes this is the native american u have called a nigger
I suppose Greeks have not only the right for social benefits, health-care, pensions. They have also an obligation to pay taxes. It was common practice to evade taxes in Greece. The roots of the problem are in Greece itself. Take hard steps - cut spending, force pay taxes. Export better, cheaper kalamata and get that money for hard work. I'll pay my dime. Personally, I've chosen Greek olive oil last time in the shop instead of my favorite Spanish one. Sadly, I was disappointed.
Banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.
If Greece and Iceland really want to get better treatment all they have to do is invite China to come in and build Military bases to get money for their debts - I'm sure they'd hear a big "wait a minute, WAIT A MINUTE!!!" from Europe and the U.S.
You see how thoroughly propagandized even so-called "informed" people are, like your guest. Even after everything that's happened, after all the evidence of fraud and corruption, they're still blaming the people. Let's hope the Icelanders can check the banksters, because the PIIGS seem to be a lost cause. Portugal just rammed through austerity, and Spain will be next.
@BlacksAreBeautiful I was for the health care reform a few months ago but now am not- the same way I'm for drinking punch at a party until someone craps in the punch bowl.
China offered to buy tthe Greek debt, and Germny refused. If i was prime minister, i would default on the debt, deny payment, and get in bed with Russia -China who would buy the debt 50-50. That would close the door to Europe, and open the door to the East.
But Greece like every other country is ruled by traitors, who have been groomed, and sponsored by international private banks. Every politician today belongs to some secret cabal, that controls him.
I'm in Real Estate in DC which is pretty much recession proof, we have lots of military, political, and a great job market and "old" money, so we never get hit quite as hard as the rest of the country.
But check out what's going on, people don't give a crap about the $8k federal homebuyer welfare any more. It worked last fall, but people now say to me "I'll take if I get it, but I wont buy because of it", interest rates are going up soon, and when summer comes, housing market will crash again

Low rates also mean that speculators (see J P Morgan Goldman Sachs etc.) get cheap money to bring down economies.
So, no wonder why the biggest supporters of low interest rates are the so called financial companies.
I'd rather call them cheating gamblers who use people's armies and police forces as cover.
Problem is our hypnotized species still respect anyone that can afford $3000 suits.
