  • pretty sick that you can do 30 reps with that weight. btw, you technique is really good. all of the reps are similar to eachother

  • That was an awesome performance. How many do you think you could do with a slight pause at top and bottom of lift?

  • Great work. Check out this Fullback repping 225 overhead press search for Oskian

  • Big baby

  • nice menn from swiss

  • Calm down people. Donny obviously has the chest mass to absorb that bounce. I wouldn't try it but then again the combine isn't about health and longevity and neither is football. But especially here, they want to see what his body can do. And at this stage in his career he takes more repeated chest pounding during practice with even greater dynamic load than this little bench press demo could ever approximate. He could do at least 20 with strict form and lockout.

  • this guy is a tank

  • @darkcurrent you obviously don't understand what this guy is trying to do. Awesome lifting man!

  • It's so easy to spot the people who arnt experienced lifters. People talk such retarded bollocks. The guy is obviously going for a max out with reps. It's blatantly obvious to anyone who lifts he could lift the weight with the perfect precision execution if he chose to, but thats not the point of his effort u dumb fucks! Nice lifting mate, don't listen to these hating pricks.

  • yea he probably wasn't going for form, he was just trying to max out in reps at 225 it done in football

  • Enjoy a cracked sternum fat fuck. Bouncing the bar on your chest like that is not exploding. It's cheating. You can explode up with NO bounce. Shit form and too high a rep range.

  • @darkcurrent WOW. You have to be the smartest person on youtube.

  • this kid could probably do 370-380 easily!

  • Nicely done Donny

  • look the baby is coming out of his balley :-0

  • fat fuck

  • u need more weight lol

  • fake and gay

  • @MrBallablockin fake and gay? are you stupid? that is an honest question. how is it fake?

  • We all do like 225 in the 9'th grade... ?

  • @gadgetsit your fucking retarted. im pretty sure you werent doing 225 for 29 reps in highschool

  • @goatkiller68 Not 29 reps.. Maxing out.. 1 rep.

  • @gadgetsit exactly but you make it sound like it was easy. for him to bench 225 29 times is like doing 300something pounds once.

  • Comment removed

  • @gadgetsit 215. 9th grade next year

  • cant we all just get along.. sport specific training should mimic what happens on the football field- after a ball is snapped, 90% of the time the entire play is done within 4-8 seconds, its an all out max exertion of forward progress for a short burst of time- then theres a 40 sec rest of play clock.. so to get better at that doing maximum amount of reps with a sub-max weight is NOT the best way to train... it should be an all out explosion with controlled percentages for short periods of time!

  • when you bounce off your chest its exploding, that shows that yall dont know shit about lifting weights. most ppl cant do 225 so get off his nuts. yall just mad that you cant do what he does, how bout yall make a video hittin 225 15!!!!!! times with "perfect" form. thought so

  • @NinjaLinebacker bouncing off your chest dose not mean exploding power .. it is very incorrect form, i could give a shit less if he can do it 15 or 20 times. Have you ever seen a professional strongman bench like that. Another thing, how much does that dude weigh? i bet he's 225 or more so that ain't shit, anyone who hits the gym hard should be able to bench there own weight 15 times.

  • @ajw2790 soooooo you tryna tell me....a college football player AND athletic training major what exploding is...? if your looking for a "professional strongman" your looking at the wrong place. Obviously ppl get us FOOTBALL PLAYERS mixed up with PROFESSIONAL STRONGMAN and BODYBUILDERS. clearly we arent them. when we lift we use explosion and momentum so we dont to much care bout bouncing because thats how you explode in the game. now if he was just droppin it on his chest thats diff

  • @redmagicb4life Slowly doesn't build strength. All it does is make the muscle big. There's strength training, then there's bodybuilding. Two different kinds of workouts. Besides, 15-20 properly is far, far above what the average person can do. Most people can't even do 10 perfect reps of 100.

  • chest bounce much? yea i know i dont wanna hear all the people who say that i cant do it that many times, im 16 138 pounds ive been benching since about mid november and i max with 185 1 rep :p

  • @TheWanted1134 Nobody cares.

  • @okcomputer1016 how much do you bench press

  • @TheWanted1134 lol i don't know why it matters, but 250 @ 180. which i know is no world record but a work in progress.

  • good job

  • wow u suck your not suposto bounce it off your chest thats pussy style

  • thats wht up so u need check me out at sifu94

  • your are a beast! almost as good as an nfl line men!

  • Haters hate.. that's their job.

  • I hear ya but if you watch enough nfl combine videos you will notice they dont bounce off the chest that hard. I dont know if its the angle or what but I feel for this guys chest.

  • @stgublahblahah ur a Fag!

  • Why is 13andincrediblycut such a douche bag? Does anyone really give a damn about what you have to say? For clarification, the answer is no.

  • I thought he was just gonna do it once, then I was going to send a comment calling him a weakass. Boy was I proven wrong, haha beast!

  • this fat american will kick your ass

  • Shit I'm 6' 190lbs and rep out 225lbs 25 times. If I was 300lbs I'd be doing 50+

  • @tankhayes stfu

  • LOL FAT FUCKING AMERICAN

  • @lokrenzo LOL IGNORANT FUCKING YOUTUBER

  • im 13 and i can bench 410 raw no straps at 200

  • @13andincrediblycut you are lying. One, you don't bench with straps anyway and you also posted a comment on another video claiming you can do 300 for 25 reps. You also said you are 6'4, if thats true than you are a freak of nature. Can I see a video or picture?

  • @73Nateman you also said that you have been a gymnastics expert for almost 11 years. So you started at 2 years old? WTF you are definitely lying.

  • @73Nateman Nope. I started at 3. :)

    Grab a book, please!

  • @13andincrediblycut 11+2= 13

  • @73Nateman Yes, ALMOST 11 years. I never said it was EXACTLY 11 years.

    :)

  • @73Nateman Nah, I'm good. :) I know what I can do. :)

  • @13andincrediblycut If that's true than that's a world record. 13 years old? LOL!

  • Im sure most of the people talking shit are the ones who just walk around a gym all day, barely doing anything for an hour and leave.

  • What an idiot. Just wait till he rolls in the ER and they say "sir we cant help you out with a cracked sternum, maybe you shouldn't bounce the weight like a retard :)"

  • fuck, i could only do 12. this guy is beast!

  • the dude has got sum big time strength!!......ILL see u in line at mcdonalds fat ass!!

  • nice, screw haters

  • that dont count u gotta do it sklow u need to feel the weight thats how you grow muscles u rushed it at the begining and u bounced it FEEL THE BURN !!!!

  • I would hate to be the one that has to feed that boy!

  • what a tank man beast

  • Comment removed

  • i kinda think its funny that hes in college and ima sophomore in high school and i can do 20 lol

  • @MrMuffins1000 225 not 135

  • @Anagramrice yeah ik its 225, and if ur saying i can do 135 only 20 times ur wrong i can hit bout 30ish

  • @MrMuffins1000 now i feel like you just making up numbers because i can do 135 32 times but i can only do 225 8 times

  • @Anagramrice u have better endurance but i have a better max prolly so mayb thats y i have weird numbers, ive done 19 of 225 but ik its more then that now cause that was like 2 months ago and same with 135 i havent done a burnout for that eithier in bout 2 months, ill do burnouts tomorrow just for u and let u no how many i get lol

  • @MrMuffins1000

    bs, post a vid

  • @MrMuffins1000 no you cant

  • Bouncy bouncy leads to ERcy ERcy.. trust me on this.. seen lung collapse on less than 225 on bounce.. .. they have vests u can wear to protect yer chest if you gotta bounce..

  • oh yes. this video displays the evolutionary purpose of the chest...as a trampoline. i almost forgot thats what it was for. maybe later, you can let me jump up and down on it and try to cause as much damage as your form. you can let it down fast, but don't use your chest to bounce it.

  • @GSgtHartman101 : Doesn´t matter if it´s a football rep test or not. It´s the wrong way to lift, and he could get serious injuries. Plus, going down for 5 sec, and up for 2 sec, is strength, bouncing is not. You should learn this stuff before you call people idiots.

  • When I first saw the video I thought it was a one rep max at 225 which I was confused why anyone would put a video of that one here since one rep of 225 isnt that difficult. Then I saw you do it 30 times. Awesome, keep it up.

  • CRAZY nice 30 reps!! benching 225lbs

  • Cool technique bro. Sike, i hope you shatter your sternum

  • @joeydelac let's see you do that 30 times...

  • your gonna wreck your chest lol, but good job, i wish i could put up 225 once:D

  • nice - i am 22 reps but only weight 160. good speed - ull be at 50 in no time.

  • @steeloism

22 Reps at 160 pounds? You've got to be 5'5 to have enough muscle mass to rep 225 more than 20 times. Other than that and you'd be wayyy too skinny to put up that much weight that many times. But who knows...

  • @snapura

Yes, I am 5'7 160 - Working on 25 reps. I am light in the legs... ill post my video soon.

  • @steeloism

Yeah it's always you little bastards that can bench. I wouldn't be surprised if you're also Asian. I always see stocky Asian guys putting up big weight.

  • @snapura

nope not asian - black. i just been benching for years.

  • dude could prob do 40/45 if he did a normal nfl bench rep and didnt lock his elbows.

  • he is bloody strong i couldnt do it at all but it would be better like others have said if he didn't bounce it

  • If u ever watch the nfl scouting combine they bounce the weight. 30 reps? That is very impressive! Great job man!

  • Nice job, Donny. That's 20 more reps than I can do, not matter what the technique! Good to see such a great effort.

  • JEEEEEESUS !!! with the asshole negative comments. Well done mate thats great power and strenght.Too many fuckin muppets thinking they have all the goddamn advice in the world. If they had a fuckin clue they wouldn't be commenting at all.225lbs on anybody is 225lb and thats all there is to it.Either ya can lift it or not, never mind "oh my God he bounced it" or "thats too quick" .225lb will always be 225lb.

  • why does everyone always have something negative to say he is stronger than 99% of all men so why hate... it isnt a world record but shit he is still a beast

  • i cant even do it once

  • don't bounce it off your chest

  • It seems like the only thing that will impress most people is a world record. I'm impressed by what this guy can do. I can't do it. Maybe one day, but not any time soon.

  • @MrBrazzle hahahha 260 at 15. you must be a fat fuck

  • not impressed , i mean he weighs 300lbs and benches 31 times by bouncing , ive seen a 19 year old fotball player here on youtube do 225 x 33 at 240lbs weight all the way up and no bouncing!

  • Stop bouncing it of ur chest tough guy.

  • Lol all that training is that really the look hes going for... fat bastard.

  • You know that bouncing the bar off of your chest is generally frowned upon.

  • @supasonicman lol ye i dont think he cares much for form

  • Bounce..

  • Comment removed

  • @Sickbag07, i'm 115 pounds and bench press 700. is that good?

  • pretty good as long as you can prove it. i didnt forget that i promised a video, but i will make it pretty soon. being with a camera in the gym is gay, but i will make a video some day when not that many people there

  • @unclepauley16 ok lol

  • he looks like a chode

  • I wouldnt wanna bring it down so hard on my chest like that,, but damn this is impressive none the less!

  • @mcakajuice Dude strength isn't linear like that.... You are a dumbass. Until you can do 225 for more reps than this guy, you can't fucking talk

  • lol pleasee i can do that 16 times and i weigh under 190 . and i never said the guy wasnt strong lb for lb hes nto that strongg

  • @mcakajuice Like I said, strength isn't linear, so "pound for pound" doesn't work when you span across 110 pounds! I'll bet you that this guy's Wilks score is higher than yours anyway

  • wait what lol what is wikls score? and what do you mean by pound for pound doesnt work when you span across 100lbs

  • my weight is 160 and i bench press 245 6 times after a month of working out real hard..

the guy weights whole 250, 225 is just a warm up and doing many repetitions with the light weight is more as a sign of endurance rather than power

  • @Sickbag07 ur such a liar prove it

  • deal..by the way its been already 3 weeks since my post and I am already pressing 275 4 reps. My current weight is around 165

big black dudes look at me with respect (i workout in harlem). However, its all about your muscle efficiency, not the crazy bulk mass.

Promise to make a video within next couple of weeks

  • wow this guy is strong !!

  • not to take anything away from Mr. Severs that was impressive but he was bouncing quite hard and on the 18th rep if there was a marble stuck in his belly-button an innocent passerby would get his head blown off!

  • u are a vag...my balls are bigger than your head.... DUDE GROW A PAIR YOU MOTHER

  • ahahaha so wrong

  • Fuckin animal, good job man.

  • Would someone please help me with my form. I have years of experience but i am having problems. watch?v=tWhyfITahcc

  • Guys a bull! Great power. Repping 225 like that takes some serious strength.

  • Username4453 its nfl combine style you do 225 as much times as you can

  • Why do so many reps? Increase the weight if you can do at least 10 reps. Thats how you get stronger. Works for me.

  • i wouldnt be giving this guy advice.....

  • @Username4453 actually everyones different. People can be dominantly fast twitch muscle fibres, dominantly slow twitch muscle fibres or pretty even. People who are dominantly slow twitch make better gains from higher reps and fast twitch make better gains from lower reps. What works for you doesn't work for everyone else.

  • im 185 and max 245

  • Good job, man.

  • still stronger than me you fuckin haters

  • being fat doesnt mean shit still have to train hard and keep pushin i have a friend whos roughly 300lbs and max at 200 for 1 rep

  • lol im 170 and max at 200

  • 30 reps with 225? Dear God man, respect. Stay active.

  • an its locked out too 0.0

  • not that pussy shit lol.

  • You idiots. Its a football rep test. This is how you bench press for power and strength. Everytime I watch a football rep test video there are some people who always criticise that the person is doing it wrong. Ok hes not gonna go down 5 seconds and 2 seconds up. He would be depleting his glycogen stores and thats not really a method for power and strength. Doing it in slow reps is more for muscle thickness & shape.

  • Hrrm... People say alot about bouncing, but the matter of the fact is that he still bench pressed it, if that's how he bench press that's how he bench press. The matter of the fact is that he benched the weight down and up. No such rule as not bouncing or this amount of seconds before it is considered a bench press. certain techniques = certain results. in this case more reps.

  • and a cours calories give you extra energy to lift more weight ...check all the power lifter ...the all are fat !!

  • You should get paid for people to see your 225 max excellent form each rep right to chest.

  • This guy is strong, no doubt. But in terms of college linemen, he's pretty average. More importantly, however, the problem is that he is bouncing the bar off his chest and hitching his hips upward. That helps out a lot and isn't considered a legal lift. With that said, if he concentrated on better form, he would probably bipass the mark he reached in this video. He would get much stronger, much faster.

  • You can give me all the thumbs down you want but this is NOT impressive at all, this dude weighs 300lb and benched 225 for 31 rep.. I weigh 188 and can rep this 20 times I know a dude at my gym who weighs 165lb and rep this 24 times now thats impressive not a fat ass who weighs 300 and cant even bench 225 more than 30 he should be able to do this atleast 50-60 clean rep..

  • your a fuckin clown that was a great lift this dude just put up he is lifting at an ELITE level no doubt about it anyone denying that doesnt know shit.

  • so weighing alot makes you strong, putting calories into your body makes your upper body strong?lol what the fuck are you talking about?

  • lol when did i say something about training? lol your wanna of those people who think fat peope are strong because there fat. lol im not gonna go to your level and insult you but really you put words in my mouth. iv seen someone weigh 250 and put 600 up 4x. saying wieght has to do with a rested pushing movement is non sense but yah you can think what ever you want

  • and i bet on the football field if you and this guy went head up he would probably lay you out and give you a concussion

  • Awesome! I hope you make it to a good team in the NFL!

  • perfect form good job but i expect that this guy is 300 lbs

  • i find it interesting how he's touching the bar to his chest and then fully extending his arms for the perfect bench press repetition of a heavy weight but his video still does not have an average of 5/5. i guess there will always be haters. but keep it up, man. this is amazing. 5/5 from me

  • okay. i thought i was about to see this big guy throw up 2 plates 1 time.. but 30 is much better.. his real max is probably around 325. very nice.

  • 19 reps that's awesome!

  • benisisballin 14 yrs AND CAN BENCH OVER 200KG!!!!! that is unreal, man u must have taken somthing

  • I am 18 years old i bench 110lbs

is it good or too weak!?

i weigh 138 lbs but not skinny

  • depend on how long you will keep benching, at your age i was benching the same, now at 23 i bench almost 308 for a single. And 13 reps with 221Lbs (i use kilograms that's why the numbers are odd) and i'm 141Lbs bodyweight. At your age i was 110Lbs bodyweight.

  • lol i thought he was only doing it once..30 times?? holy shit

  • Good lord people, he does more then bench on the football field, he doesnt spend every lifting day on bench, he's a football player, not a body builder

  • Fatty was bouncing it off his chest and making his beer belly plop up and down each time LOL.

    Disgusting fatass.

  • his grip is too close to make good use of the momentum, is all him here.

  • Regardless of what these other people are saying, it's a different ball game for heavy guys. Lighter guys can rep their bodyweight easy because they can lift more pound-for-pound, but the guys that have more absolute strength may struggle quite a bit more with bodyweight. Regardless, there aren't too many guys out there that weigh 200 pounds that can do 225 for 30. So for him to weigh 300 and do it like this isn't bad at all. I'm very impressed.

  • nice form, and nice lift, good job bro

  • nice form lol he bouncing it off his chest thats not legit he prolly hurt himself

  • he needs to bench more....

  • agreed with juice88, hate seeing big 350lbs guys benching 315 and everyone's impressed, they should be able to rep it out. im only about 165 and my bench is at 265 and still increasing.

  • 139 and maxing 287. And doing 225 for 12 reps... xD

  • no one in the world makes odd numbered weights, 287 is a lie

  • In USA you have Pounds, plates have round numbers. Here i have Kilograms, i also use round numbers in the plates, BUT rounds numbers for me give odd numbers for you because.

Your big plate is 44Lbs for me is 20.4Kg

My Big plate is 20Kg for you it is 44.09Lbs.

    287 for me is 130Kg round number, 4 20Kg plates 2 15Kg plates.

  • plates are 45 Lbs mate

  • no doesnt work like that, u typed that in google i bet? 20kg here is 45 lbs there. 100kg here is 225lbs there and so on.

  • 20kg is 44lbs and 100kg is 221Lbs... and yes, i used the google calculator.

  • yeh doesnt work that way thou....cause there 45lb weight is EXACTLY the same as are 2kg weight. And there 225lb weight is EXACTLY the same as are 225lb weight

  • good repping, im 180lbs and max 320lbs and rep 225 for 17 :)
