OK, can you name any other musician that puts put more enthusiam and truly loves what he does as Verdine White does? Every performance he is always having fun on the stage. Gotta love him, Fantastic bass player, and a super fun person to watch!!
I saw this incarnation of the band in Florida. They were great. You should have seen the people doing the hearing-impaired sign language. They were dancing and signing it out, covered in sweat, big smiles on their faces. When something can do that to you, ya gotta love it.
Back in the 80's this song was playing in the background while I was banging a miami ho doggy style on the deckchair. It was on the tropical island of Barbados. Memories of thrusting to the beat and letting loose all my frustrations that I had at the time.Letting go of my stress as a multi national bank manager. You know how the saying goes "get the show pumpin or else u aint doing the gigalo dance". And hey -I'm glad I deposited my load to the rythim of that sweet smooth jazz in the background.
Yes , Thanks Roland Bautista -- very good guitarist.... I rate them this way Al Mc. Kay , he did n' t do a lot of solo; I like his accompaniment the best; Johnny Graham his solo was always on pint; Sheldon; He can play and sing, Then Baustista as my favorites.... Al very talented musicians. they always bring their a game.
You forgot the guitarists since then. Bobby Gonzales from 2002-2004, John Johnson during the same time, Greg "G-Mo" Moore, Vadim Zilberstein (from Russia), and their current lead guitarist;Morris O'Connor.
Sheldon was multi talented and a great vocal.... They have had some great guitarist in the past not just Al Mc. Kay; Johnny Graham a spanish brother i cannot remember his name (Great Guitar Player) and some other ones all hand picked musician... One of the Greatest band if not the best R&B band.... well Kool and the band was great in its days also....

Amazing party song. This song gets me out of any bad mood or any slump I'm in and it also gets me ready to drink some Brewski's.
