  • Such a hippie! lol

  • Howard Stern's on Youtube? Wow

  • Oh and be careful Aloe Vera is a natural laxative

  • Um. Love your videos Casey, but the depression was in the 30's and you are eating the wrong end of a green onion. The white part is the onion, which you eat. The green part is the the part that most people throw away except those that use it as a chives substitute. Also for those thinking green onions, chives, and scallions are the same thing they are not. Chives are an herb, green onion is what is featured in this video, and scallions are all together different despite all being similar.

  • Another thing...you don't eat the tops of green onions, which is one reason they make a great plant to grow in ones yard, because you can just mow the tops of them off when mowing your lawn and then pick or dug them when it's time to eat an onion!

  • where's video 2 dude, i need to preserve all this good food !

  • now I have to psyche myself to eat squirl meat . I live in New York, I can't think any other wild animal but squirls and giant rats.

  • As long as there will be pasta noodles at the stores? We should not go hungrey. Vegetables prices are rediculous though. They are healthy though & as for the fact of growing them yourself? {great idea} But not in winter time. Hope economy improves. But it does not stop people for paying cable tv?

  • Who throws away the bottoms of the green onions? That's nuts. And the Great Depression was in the 1930's.

  • Where I'm from we eat the green onion from where you cut it off to the end and throw away the long ends, we may use some of the stems to garnish but that's it!

What do you use the stems for?
