but of any of u people cant get the task manager from CLT-ALT-DELETE

coz the virus might block it....

restart the computer and turn it on from the SAFE MODE....

then when the computer starts there will be no programs running from the background for example the virus or any other stuff..like drivers

so now u can skip the part that involves the task manager...coz when u turn on the safe mode the virus will already be disabled....

thank you, this is the best solution i have found so far, but one problem i have now is that it wont let me empty the recycling bin. I have also tried downloading CCleaner.com to help empty my recycling bin, but unfortuanately it wont even display RECYCLE folder in CCleaner. Any other recommendations??? thank you

@ohhenry007 your recycle bin prolly isnt displaying by default. You have to go to control panel > personalization -- and tell it to display your recycle bin. Then you can just tell it to empty and permanently delete everything in it.

@zee606 my task manager was not responding during my fight against security tool. So i had to restart for the thousandth time and i had to hit F8 very quickly before windows fully booted. Hitting this then brought to a menu which let me work in safe mode, only letting important programs run, which meant I was free to download and run "mlaware bytes anti-malware", and the end!

HI~ No, i was able to delete all traces of "security tool" by just deleting AFTER start-up. It's strange as i just couldn't delete anything when it first appeared. When i re-started none of the fake windows popped up and it was case of just going into programs and a simple delete. Thanks.
