@worldsgreatone interesting comment. pink herself has said her first album wasn't her true self but the record company telling her what to sing and she got fed up with this so decided to write her own songs. this is even referred to in "please don't let me get me" -second album

She said herself in an interview a long time ago that she went swimming with some classmates, but she didn't have her bathing suit so she swam in her underwear. Then, afterward, she put her dry clothes back on (no underwear, since they were wet) and someone pulled down her shorts.  She turned bright pink and the nickname stuck - Pink.

this was her first album, produced by a mostly r&b recrding company babyface, she posed as a r&b singer to sell which was the image that was popular at that time. shes now a rock/pop singer..she said that this r&b was never her! basically a entire album produced for her #fake

@wize1 she never it wasnt "her" as to say she was being fake. she was young and a hs drop out found by la reid for laface records, wasnt babyface fyi, and she had a contract with the record company so sang what they had her sing. then she finally was able to move on to do what she wanted as far music went with another song writer. so plz do get story straight before you call a true singer fake. im not a kissass just hate when ppl dont know sh!%
