  • reminds me of carcass, in a goodway. but that still doesn't make up for this album

  • Shitknot is that you?!

  • oh no something new let me run and hide........ahhhhhhhhhhh deal with it it's good

  • the solo is like angel corpse XD

  • lol this is shit

  • o men this is a nice track especially the part when is sound like "gateway to anhilation"

  • come on now ya'll are just being parasites this song is definite Morbid material.

So far this, Existo Vulgore, Blades for Baal and I am Morbid are decent Morbid Angel tracks

  • @FierceViking On ILLUD... What could you expect? The reception history of their I-album should be no cause for surprise. Admittedly it was a shock to me too at first. But the unfaltering objectivity of your appreciation is received by me with great enthusiasm after all. After all, first I gave ILLUD away, next week I bought it again. 10 More Dead is a great track!

  • Am I the only one who actually loves the vocals on this release? I really don't know why, but I love how gritty David's vocals sound here. For me, the only bad songs on this album are Radikult and Too Extreme! I actually like the rest.

  • I actually LIKE the riff to this... Terrible album on the whole though.

  • *band

  • why do you listen this kind of music?... because you want to free your minds... don't you?... but when your favourite bad try refresh it's music, you are cryin' "what that's fuckin' shit!"... you're more 'squareminded' than square you try to get out to be free...

  • Why are you people trying to make excuses or explain why this is so bad? This is quite possibly the worst music I've ever heard.

  • @RedScareTactic You don't like the album or the music style in general?

  • @MrVarsityphysics I don't even know what style of music they're going for here but I don't like the album. I love Morbid Angel's first three albums and everything that came after was at least decent. This is one of the worst come back albums I've ever heard.

  • @RedScareTactic I think this did not happen with pre-meditation. I don't think they think, artist's just suddenly go for it. Morbid Angel may well be commercial, but will never be a multinational. There still remains a certain degree of - let's call it - PLAIN IMPULSE. They just did what they felt. Only later people deem their creation as belonging to or manifesting a certain style.

  • @LordNibavas Only because David Vincent came back, neither turns this wretced piece into a comeback album. They never split to begin with.

  • @LordNibavas You're over-analyzing it. They were going for a more accessible sound on this record to appeal to people who wouldn't otherwise like Morbid Angel. Even the lyrics are dumbed down into something easier for your average listener to digest.

  • @RedScareTactic (On Illud!) NO YOU IDIOT ! THE WORST MUSIC IS BY BEETHOVEN ! (You - especially you - should know this !)

  • trey IS morbid angel. anything the band does is done at his behest, so don't think he was 'forced' into doing anything. there have always been bits and pieces of industrial elements on every MA release. you can't blame the guy for implementing them more prominently and trying something different with HIS music after 20+ years.

  • I think the reaction of the album, was also because, they'd played Nevermore live, a year or 2, which gave some optimism,it's classic MA as we want it.And the tech/ambient/goth-tracks on Illud was way over the limit that I thought. The contrast between the 5 true MA-songs & the new bad songs are too big. It's like 2 different bands or albums.I was shocked.BUT- I think the 5 GOOD songs on Illud are much better than the entire Heretic album. No RIP MA. But give us a masterpiece on the next J-album.

  • I think people are judging EVERY song on the album based on the five or six that suck ass (depends on whether or not you consider the intro a "song"). Why don't you people listen to every single song and judge for yourselves? I for one love the death-metal songs on this album, but don't care too much for the other songs. Does that mean I think the whole album sucks? Not necessarily.

Calling a decent song on a shitty album bad is like saying black people are evil because one robbed you.

  • i think its the drummer

  • this album kick a lot asses...justin bieber's fan asses...problem?

  • groovy as hell

  • -this song

    -Existo Vulgore

    -Beauty Meets Beast

    -Nevermore

    -Blades For Baal

Those are the only good songs on this album. The rest of it is the real failure that so many people have ridiculed this album for. How about you people actually listen to the whole album before judging every song as a whole just because a handful suck ass?

  • I can't comprehend these close-minded negative morons, who are complaining about this album. If you don't like it then you can leave.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 indeed my friend. ignore them or leave them nasty comments letting them know there lambs and follow the heard. :p quick and swift death for the lambs yes. i love eating lamb. its yummy i like gyros bro so tasty.

  • This shit sux! Sounds like pop

  • @97jesterhead yourmom goes pop.

  • fuck...what the hell. time to do something else boys....

  • GREAT SONG ! ! !

  • This is garbage... They should of changed the bands name cause no true metal fan will but this crap

  • @chronicmetalhead what is "but this crap"? you must be dumb. never-mind.

  • Actually this album is not that bad, except the second track and seventh and... no... it's a bad album...

  • @LukosMelanos complete contridiction. Either you like it or not. listen to it. if you enjoy it. buy it. thats how simple it is. as for commenting you can do that to. just. at the risk of being called a moron. or in my opinion something worse than that would be. your a lamb. go on shoo. follow the rest of those little terds to the meat grinder

  • @eSchlumpberger Do you know irony and sarcasm ? I am not a lamb, man. I made my own thinking. I don't like this album, that's all. I am not a huge fan of industrial metal, but I think experimenting can be good sometimes. In that case, it's a total fail in my opinion. i go back to listen Altars of madness & Domination. I don't care about the other's opinions (for example, if you listen to Mastodon, I prefer the last album than others, so don't judge me please)

  • the only song off this album ive disliked so far is "too extreme" i know its not like old morbid but who cares? its not bad

  • This song is actually ok.

  • Maybe if i was still in 5ht grade listening to Slipknot this would be cool...but this is not Morbid Angel... Actually this is Morbid Angel and it's not too bad, just not that great...

  • i think all those years of not recording really took a toll on there creativity

  • what happend to this guys?.... :(

  • Comment removed

  • Morbid angel used to be good, what the hell happened!!

  • dobry kawałek,dla prawdziwych znawców metalu,na nie głosują tylko discocioty ha ha

  • Listen, MA have put out gr8 shit for 20+ yrs. I think REAL fans would not turn their backs on them like a lot of you have. They are entitled to make a mistake. And as stated by others, this was a collaboration by all of them to experiment. It didn't get the response they hoped and they probably have regrets. There are some good tracks none the less. I'll just hope for the best next time around.

  • @signofsatan Yes, REAL fans will continue to support and forgive. To me, the real fans are the ones who either enjoyed, or were able to appreciate Formulas Fatal to the Flesh and Heretic because those albums define what they are all about.

However, if this slide continues then one is inclined to wonder about the bands direction (e.g. Metallica). If the direction continues then they will have betrayed everything they have said, namely Trey, about their message and music pertaining to art!

  • @signofsatan I agree, fans shouldn't ditch the band for one bad album.

  • @patorr69 Anyone who actually stops listening to Morbid Angel because of this album was never an actual fan in the first place.

  • @MunicipalDude I concur, I stopped listening to this album but I will never stop listening to Altars, Blessed etc because I didn't like one album lol

  • I'm gonna remake this song and call it 'Twelve More Dead'

    It'll be way more awesome.

  • Slipknot? NOOOOOO!!!

  • chicken needs to be cooked for 1 hour per kg, add lemon and thyme

  • @timwaltham and olive oil!

  • Everybody attacks Dave Vincent for this album. Sure he brought that influence of playing industrial from 10 years in the Genitorturers and that fucked the album up. But look at the writing credits for the songs. This one and Blades for Baal, the ONLY tracks that sound like old school Morbid Angel, are written by him and Destructhor! Trey (along with David Vincent) wrote all the other crap on this release. so some of this "Trey being forced to play this shit" is bullshit! He had a hand in it too

  • @JayCrazy74 Eventhough that Blabbermouth had some stories bout Trey saying he didn't like the album, he is not the riffmaster anymore.Vincent is still a man that have what it takes to be a frontman in the former best DM-band.I missed Vincent.I saw'em Live 14 days after the release, but they luckily only played 3 nr's from the album. But Trey have removed his satanic tattoo & have NEVER let any guitarist's make songs alone, only on this one.Trey-Play deadly riffs OR Playstation- Choose!

  • @NorthernPanzer666 Why not both?

  • @PrivateSnowballTFC Great question!Take frontmen in the big DM bands Vincent just have that extra,he is not just a growler. If you compare with Tucker, who looks ordinary, with not much contact w/ the crowd.Vincent have strong statements.Videos such as-Slime lives& Blessed are& Live he is still focused.I think Azag whom I respect deeply has run out of ideas/Killer-riffs,Heretic wasn't good either & Destructhor is way better on gui.I think=Fresh Blood. But Vincent must sit down & take the critics or?

  • @JayCrazy74 i think Pete not being involved is what happened...Pete Sandoval was pissed from the change from Covenant to Domination ffs. lol Youd think having back surgery wouldnt keep you out of the studio or at least contributing. Ill put money on David pissing off Pete with this drastic change idea and Pete said fuck it and stayed out of it. This album is to Morbid Angel what "Cold Lake" was to Celtic Frost. Some songs are ok on this album....but its definitely an acquired taste.

  • @JayCrazy74 Well Trey favourite band is Laibach, and he also like groove oriented pop and rap,so i dont think its Vincent fault the electronic themes

  • @JayCrazy74 On Illud... Yo! Look at the reception history of this defamed piece. Those who like death metal tend to dislike it, but others like it overall a lot more. The reception of this album to me seems so biased... Is it innovative? No! Is it death metal? No! Is it an alltogether bad album? No! Is it a masterpiece? Probably not. The only thing insane here is that people don't seem to remember the Angel's fancy preference for industrialists Laibach.

  • @LordNibavas Fancy preference wich dates back to an album as early as BLESSED ARE THE SICK. Did you know Napalm Death did a split with John Zorn for heaven's sake?!?

  • Fair enough if you didn't like this album, but what pisses me off is when assholes like the guys on that "RIP Morbid Angel" facebook page make fun of them even back when their music was actually good (ie; finding some old Blessed-era promo pics and saying shit like "lol crossing the line"). We get it, they made a bad album. It happens. That doesn't automatically make them a bad band.

  • Of course this doesn't make of them a bad band. But, when something is bad or not well made we must say it because we know that they can do better. Do not call people assholes because they are in theyr wright to cryticize the album. If is bad, then is bad and you have to accept it because is that what it is. Bad album. I hope next can be better and clean this shadow album...

  • @FKulua Yeah, definitely call them out for a bad album, but I just don't think they should be made fun of for everything they've done just because of one mistake.

  • Quite some whinny bitches around here, wow. If you don't like it why don't you just get the fuck out? Just sayin'...

  • @Th3Hatebreeder your username clearly gives me why your making this comment.

your ears need some training son.

  • @ADEZK And what does my username remind you of, dear retard? Care to explain?

Anyway, I'll say it again, if you don't like the song, just GTFO.

I mean, you're obviously better, cooler and definitely more extreme than Morbid Angel and anyone of us, so what are you even doing here?

    Are you that masochistic?

Get a life, troll. Go listen to the albums you DO like(I'm guessing some avenged 7 shit and alike, right :D?)!

    Cheers

  • @Th3Hatebreeder Oh god, you actually referenced "Too Extreme" in your comment. Are you Dave Vincent?

  • If I would have written this song it would have been more brutal and called 'Eleven More Dead'

  • Someone came into the picture and fucking ruined morbid angel, or vincent converted to a homosexual, poor trey having to play this material which is of a far lesser skill than he is capable of. Dimmu borgir is also shit now, fucking new generation bullshit.

  • you know, its pretty immature to bag tucker, tucker is actually a really top guy and I quite often talk to him, I don't see why he deserves hate in response to the other immature people bagging out this album

  • How many people disliked this track just because it's in the last album?

  • AWESOME SONG - AWESOME BAND.. MA FOREVER.. FUCK STEVE TUCKER! AND FUCK YOU HATERS!! DIE!!!!!

  • @xNewAeonx u mad, bro?

  • Reminds me of a cross between Covenant and Domination with the sludgy sound.

    inb4 shitstorm

  • You should all be ashamed of yourselves, Yes this is not a great M.A. album at all, in fact its their worst, However I will gladly deal with the shit songs to get ones like this. I've been to listening to death Metal for a long time and Morbid Angel, go to 2:11 and be thankful they are still making music as that sound can only be produced by this band.......................PEACE

  • So this is the great Morbid Angel I always heard about! I am not at all impressed

  • Comment removed

  • Granted, this albums has some absolutely terrible songs. But the fact that so many people say specifically that THIS song sucks shows me that it's just become trendy to hate this album. And I haven't listened to Machine Head or Slipknot since middle school, but christ can people stop comparing those bands to FUCKING EVERYTHING?

This song fucking rules, regardless of what you twats say.

  • I think this is the only song on this album that I like. Otherwise, the rest sounds like some shit that Slipknot would vomit up.

  • debt more debt and the bodies piling higher

debt more debt and the state is growing stronger

come on. grow up and listen between the lines...

  • Pantera? Is that you?

  • @FormerlyMrBean667 I like Pantera, so that's a plus for me.

  • @FormerlyMrBean667 pantera will never hold a candle to these legends

  • @FormerlyMrBean667 not funny dimebag was cool your to queer to know that though. stick to slipknot you queen.

  • my laptop speakers aren't doing this justice. to all the neg. comments...."haters are going to hate". With each new album I find new elements which either surprise or disgust people. I remember when "formulas" came out. i was like "wow this is crazy shit, but doesn't sound like old stuff. a week later i found much to like about it. i'll admit this album hasn't "blown my mind" but it still sounds like Morbid Angel.....maybe in a week it will have grown on me

  • @2010cynic the mind is an amazing thing... even a literal steaming pile of shit can grow on you if you try to appreciate it enough. Just stop.

  • this song would be alright if it had Death vocals to it :/ everything on this album sucks pretty much.

  • Crap.

  • This song isn't half bad.

  • Fucking Excellent

  • Different but not bad, The beat is sick as shit.

  • sick morbidity......

  • You fags sound like a bunch of 8th grade girls. I bet Trey is shocked at the disrespect you have shown him. Face the facts..... Evil D is back. Trey never left. Pete is a drunk in rehab and the chink is just as fast. This is Morbid Angel. MA always was David and Trey and it always will be. Drummers are a dime a dozen, Who the fuck are you to determine their musical direction? If you don't like it, move on. We don't need you. The Ancient Ones have arisen.
  • @mbm13213 Rise of the ancient ones. Abominations of Desolation concept, that`s DEAD!!! Dave and Trey may be MA in person, but not in this utterly shitty album! When Browning left MA everything changed, if you noticed more than half songs from Altars are from Abominations.

  • The intro reminds me of World of Shit. And those are some fucking fast sweeps during the first solo!

  • Aidscore

  • It'd be even cooler if they named it 'Eleven More Dead'

or like maybe twelve or '13 More Dead'

    Fuck yeh!!!!!!!!

    Thirteen more dead!!!!!!!!!

    13 MORE DEAD!!!

  • Sounds like early Entombed...

  • @MikeyMcCrashCap ...really? I think if anything this sounds a lot like later Entombed. A bit more "When in Sodom" than "Left Hand Path" or "Clandestine".

  • @MikeyMcCrashCap Sounds like early Poop to me.

  • @MikeyMcCrashCap More like early Dismember

  • Leute ich finds einfach nur peinlich, dass ihr eine Band die viele gute Songs geschrieben hat so runterzieht nur weil sie mal was anderes versuchen. Ich finde es ist insgesamt eine gut gelungene Scheibe. Also Schn**ze halten!!!!!

  • 10 more dead, and the bodies pile higher, and higher. One of the best songs on this CD

  • I don't know about you, but this sounds good to me. It's good to hear Vincent back on vocals

  • very funny . haha i forgot to laugh

  • This sounds like something I would have written in 9th grade when I was listening to Slipknot and Machine Head all day

  • @Corpseviolation666 c'mon, it still kicks those twats' asses. Most of the other tracks, not so much

  • @Corpseviolation666 Sounds like you're still in the 9th grade

  • @Corpseviolation666 and you are a complete douchebag.. so whats your point? MUAHAHAHAHAAHAH - HAH!!! You cant write shit, poser. P.S. FUCK TUCKER!!

  • @xNewAeonx Sounds like a troll who likes drag fags like Vincent. You're livin' tardcore radikult there, fuckwad

  • @Corpseviolation666 only thing is that your riffs wouldnt be cool like this

  • @MrRichardNoggin Oh yeah I forgot, these days being fucking boring is cool.

  • @Corpseviolation666 Slipknot sucks balls.

  • @Purdonnnnn1873 I know, that's why I stopped listening.

  • @Corpseviolation666 And are you in 10th grade now you big kid you. Haha jk. But I do agree that this was a dissapointiong album. But oh well, fuck it. Go listen to the countless other awesome albums of this year. New Fleshgod, new Vader, etc.
