AMD vs. INTEL

@iHown how can you say everything else doesnt matter?! and the intel i3 cant handle games neither can a lot of intel chips. Intel doesnt even have an 8 core cpu. AMd does. and amd you get more bang for the buck. Amd can handle gaming, work, as well.

@MaxC0mpTips thing is the amd 8 core was a huge setback for AMD as AMD spokesperson Mike declared that AMD will no longer have the INTEL vs AMD mindset. You are VERY ignorant on TCP power consumption as most sandybridges are 95WATT as opposed to phenoms and bulldozers. more over the 8 cores(really 4 sharing pipes) are lacking in everyway of the intel i5 (2500K).

you did get one part right though, amd is best price/performance ratio.

To use the CPU you want you will need a amd 9 Series Motherbord with Socet am3+

The 6 core CPU wont fit in your motherboard if you want that many cores you will need to go intel. :)
