First, I'm using prophet64 bassline pitchedit mode F1 to enter pitches and then entering notes/pauses/accents/slides at random with F3 mode. Starting the sequence with RUN/STOP and tweaking be assigning the leftmost knob using the differnt keyshortcuts.
Prophet64 sends DIN-sync to 606 thru the user port.
Nice C64 acid.

but you have modded the tr 606 to make it assignable/usable to the commodore, or the commodore to the tr 606?

the commodore can be synced with the tr606 or any other MIDI device using a MSSIAH cartridge by the 8bitventures.

well, c128 serves here only as a sequencer for tb-303 and tr-606, no sid ;)

Well, the bassline you hear IS the prophet64-application "bassline" playing the SID-chip. This is what it can sound like!

The C128 had the older and better SID chip that was in the early 64s.

The 8580 is a better chip. In fact, the bassline application requires the 8580 for the filter emulation to work right.
