This was a deliberate style copy by Jona Lewie of Mungo Jerry, After Mungo's hit 'In the Summertime' Lewie wanted to cash-in on a good thing, hence 'Seaside Shuffle' and this song.

Lewie (John Lewis) followed-around his hero Mungo, real name Ray Dorset, some unkind commentators adding: 'like a puppy'. He then, after much pestering, managed to get to occasionally support and second-bill Mungo. Lewie undoubtedly picked up musical, compositional, and creative tricks from Dorset.

It is out there somewhere, but difficult to find plus cajun is not what I had in mind. I meant trying to preserve the integrity of the song and present it in different styles. I would buy the ringtone of the original if it's not already out. The melody is very 'catchy'. Remember that the Writer still gets paid even if Weird Al records it or if a video game wants to license it.
