  • You are a strong person, Steph. I am sorry for your loss, as well as for the unanswered questions that still exist. I pray that you will find out as much as possible before long.

My two daughters will no doubt have the same questions that you do, as we adopted both of them from China. My oldest is 11 and the youngest is 6. They both know as much as we do about China and their birth parents. I imagine that they may also search for answers when they reach your age.

    Take care!

    Larry

  • my birth father died when i was 3 yrs old and is what led to me being put up for adoption. i was told he died of a brain tumor. i wont ever get to know him but all i can do is be a son he can be proud of.

  • thank you for sharing your story

  • My birth mother died. My Birth Father actually is still alive. I don't know anything about either of my parents, except unlike most adoptions my parents were married, I am Korean. I don't know what my parents look like and I don't have any clue about my mothers death all we know is that it was one month after I was born :/

  • i thought lots of the same things about my birthfather too. i haven't gotten to meet either of them yet though.
