To all of you that think this is some type of joke.. The woman in the film with the bandanna on was an individual I grew up with as a child. I remember her mother passing away at 44 years old nearly 38 years ago. Linda Pedraza died back in 2005 at 45 years old. All these women have one thing in common.. The BRCA mutated gene. 85% chance of breast cancer!! This is a death sentence.. Is this a money making scheme as mentioned by one of these postings? Life is too precious.....

These women are as ignorant as they are scared. The stupid doctors advocating the preemptive removal of healthy tissue based on statistical cancer risk should be forced out of the profession. Hey, why not routinely cut out every little girl's ovaries and breasts at birth, since that would RADICALLY reduce breast/ovarian cancer rates! I know, it's a horrible thought, but there are probably dumb&%@* doctors out there thinking, "hmmm . . . might be profitable and beneficial" Most doctors r DUMB!

That video was amazing, makes you really think. I'm a guy and it touched me, ha, but seriously, cancer is not a game, whatever you have to do to live, you gotta do it. Even though that does suck. I'm so sorry that you have this difficult decision. :(

I would keep them, but monitor closely. Treatments are much better now than in your grandmother's day. That and stop eating red meat. Read the studies in the AMA Journal and Scientific American, linking breast cancer to red meat consumption. This is why there is little to none in Japan..
