too find of these hydras, take an algae sample from a pond. make sure its not flowing and put the algae in pond water in a tank.i did this and found tons on accident lol

I have a tank full of water fleas that began as a simple pond water sample. Since they are clearly visible with the naked eye, I'm kind of surprised to note how large the hydra must actually be. Very cool.
