What are you reciting @ 1:07 - 1:20 & then @ 3;36 - 4:35 ? I'm an American-born Muslimah struggling to learn Arabic so I may say my prayers & recite Allah's Holy Quran in an authentic & accurate manner, Inshah Allah. May Allah reward you for any help you may provide, Inshah Allah.
I have been off the Mustaqeem for such a long time. Prayer had no longer been an option for me. Shaitan had me within his clutches. But this morning, Alhamdullah, I feel Allah's pull is stronger than Shaitans and I am back with my Lord. Allah Akbar!
Allahu Akbar! Thank you for this video...I am new to islam, could you please write out what you say three times in arabic so I can read it? Thank you for helping a brother out! Peace be with you!
I'm a Christian and hearing the prayer, I find nothing wrong praising our GOD the Father which is most High. It is the same as any Christian would pray. Mighty God is a spirit and we praised an thank him for all the blessing accounted to us.
@Gbeans10 May God Bless you Brother, to be brutally honest, how to pray videos are on youtube. Pretty much everything you need is on youtube. I don`t think you`ll need dvd`s rather just watch the videos and if necessary, download the videos with a youtube converter. If you need more info, private message me.
very well done it has helped me a lot coz i was to ashamed to ask but these video's have enlightened me a grate deal thank you and may Allah bless you
why to u need anything in front of u are u praying to allah ?or something u put infront of u? i dont get it.If your praying how can shaytan come allah would protect u from him but people I think just start making up stuff. And If a person was good and he did good he didnt do anything bad he didnt pray would he still go to heaven?Human cant be perfect only allah is so you cant be a perfect muslim so do your best and hope allah will reward u.
@Artanalbo But Salaat is VERY necessary, the first thing a person will be judged on on the day of Judgment is Salaat, if his salaats are complete and well made and accepted from the Lord his whole deeds will be accepted, and if his salaats are not complete and are unaccepted then his whole record wont be accepted, it is very serious, yes Allah is most Merciful and people are not perfect but you shouldn't take advantage of that, you should try and work hard and do things right.
I'm discouraged by the language, i converted to islam like 3 weeks ago but i still can't wt up with the prayers, it's so hard to learn, there are things neccesary for prayer to be acceptable before Allah, 1;knowledge 2. intention 3. action, i only have the intention and the action but i lack the knowledge, would my prayer still be acceptable>?
@Cejoguard I haven't yet taken my shahadah but am learning prayers. Effort needs to be made on your part to memorize the sounds of the words as well as their meanings. I found a website listing the prayer (in written form) as well as the corresponding actions. I then listened to this video line by line and wrote how the each of the words sounded. If you like you could message me for more information.
@Cejoguard give yourself some time. don't be so hard on yourself. i hope insha'allah you're continuing to practice Islam and did not just stop. lots of things will discourage you in life in general, esp being muslim and having ppl come @ u constantly w/ different things, but even if ur not praying, continue 2 read your Qur'an and go to mosque to learn. Arabic isn't learned overnight, but the rewards in the Hereafter are worth all the hard work u put in2 it. think about it that way :-).
asalam aalaikum.brother when you sit after the second rakaat i think your left leg is under the right.or is it in the same way that the right leg is bend n we sit on the left left.plzzz clear my doubt.
The Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Do not perform Salaah except that there is a Sutrah in front of you". (Muslim)
And his saying: "If any of you wish to perform Salaah, then let him place a Sutrah in front of him and draw close to it for indeed (shaytaan) the evil-one passes in front of him". [Ibn Khuzaymah]
And his saying: "Let any one of you place something similar to (the size of) the rear of a camel's saddle (in front of him), then perform Salaah". [Ibn Jaarood]
The Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) said "If any of you wish to perform Salaah, then he must perform it towards a Sutrah (ie:with a Sutrah in front of him) and draw close to it". [Aboo Daawood and Ibn Maajah..among others]
Or he may say any other supplications which the Prophet,(peace and blessings of Allah be on him)used to say in his prayers. It's better to recite these supplications alternately, the first one in the morning prayer "Fajr", the second in the noon prayer "Zuhr", each one by turn, in conformity with what the Prophet used to do
After reciting the opening supplication, the worshipper says:
"Aouzo billahi min al shaytani r ragim
Which means:
"I seek protection of Allah against the accursed Satan"
It's advisable that the worshipper recite this opening supplication saying:"Allahumma bald bayni wa bayena khatayaya kama boadta bayena al mashriki wal maghribi, Allahumma naqqiniy min khatayaya kama yonaqa al thawbo alabyndo min aldans. Allahumma igysilniy min khatayaya bilmai wathalgi walbarad."
"O Allah, separate me from my sins as You have separated the east and west. O Allah, cleanse me of my sins as the white rope is cleansed from dirt. O Allah, wash off my sins with water, snow and hail"
Salam, the easy way to learn is to write the prayer and Sura in transliterated arabic and beside that in English, try to memorize the number of verses in the surah and number of syllables or transliterated words in each verse. Then you can recite it in Arabic and know what it means in English and recite in English also. Memorize verses at your own pace every night and it will stick when you wake up. Keep writing it in a notebook, writing helps and close your eyes and recite, peace.
Remember, that reciting Sura after Al Fatiha is not mandatory. Therefore, the most important is to memorize Al Fatiha, because reciting Al Fatiha is not just obligatory but integral part of Salah.
after "allah humma barik" i read "allah huma rabana atina firlana..." then i say "aslamwalaycome warahmatulla" by the way, why do some people touch their ears where you did at 1:20 and 1:21? please some 1 tell me.
About what you say I understood " Allahuma barik ala ..." and "A-ssalamu alaykum wa rahmatu Allah" but I couldn't figur out what you meant by "allah huma rabana atina firlana...". And about the other thing, they do not touch their ear, they lift their hands to ear level when saying "Allahu Akbar" but not in all places just in the places where he did.
This video helps me a lot. I am a new muslim and every morning I pray. But someone can help me with the tashahud because what i got its a little different what our brother prays in this video. the last part after he says 'alaa aali ibraahim.innaka hamidun majiid. what else, can someone give me the transliteration please? thank you....
I have questions about all of these. Are these all we do each prayer or do we add different verses from the Quran each time? If so, when during the Salat do we recite them. Also where is the best place online to learn Arabic and the recitation of the Quran in Arabic???
It is recommended to recite different verses or chapters from the Qur'an each time, but if you do not know many chapters, than you may read what you know InshaAllaah. After Al-Faatiha, an extra chapter is to be read only in the first 2 rakah. So if you are praying Duhr, Asr or Isha, you recite only Al-Faatiha in the last 2 rakah. Also, the night prayers (Fajr, Maghrib and Isha), you should recite the first 2 chapters out loud
Thank you really helping the new moslims with this video! And is so good for us to be able to understand what we are saying, so it won't be just a mechanical reharsal, but go through our hearts towards Allah.
i haven't read prayer in so long.
starting it back up now
i pray i dont ever stop.

Composer1979 3 years ago 2
assalaamu alaikum,
It is recommended to recite different verses or chapters from the Qur'an each time, but if you do not know many chapters, than you may read what you know InshaAllaah.
