  • Just downloaded this onto my ipod, awesome for those car journeys stuck in traffic, you are a legend.

    Keep Whistling!

    John

    England

  • If anybody doesn't know, he tried out for America's Got Talent yesterday. That's probably why he isn't making videos.

  • @Angelwaddle1 How did you know that? I haven't told anyone...

  • @WhistlersBrother i was there. And i saw you. Not sure if you remember, but when we were waiting outside the little room waiting to preform, i was that little girl. My name is Bree by the way :) you and those scooter people were talking about youtube channels amd id thought id check you out :)

  • @Angelwaddle1 so what was the outcome?

  • @pavshopshere Im not sure.

  • can't stop watching it

  • Dave! please upload again soon! We miss you!

  • It's cool brother!

  • we have two different ways to whistle ... but it would be nice to blow the whistle something together! .. I can not imagine what might get out of it !!... but it would be fun... ciao Dave!! a presto

  • You would have driven my dad crazy lol and he was literally crazy

  • What is the chord progression?

  • I was looking for an equivalent of you in the music world.. .but I can't find one!

Some play an instrument while singing, you play... & *whistle*!!

    Amazing! :D

  • sounds amazing. i love this style of whistling

  • Turbo-badass as usual.

That low C at the end is just about the lowest note that I can whistle too. We must have similar whistle ranges.

  • Good one, and that chord progression has helped a lot of musicians thru out the years.

  • Reminded me of dear prudence. Great song.

Now you have to speed it up and DubStep it to remix it!

  • Great whistling and great piano playing. AT THE SAME TIME. Incredible!! By the way, maybe all it takes for the sustain pedal to work is switching polarity. If it has a switch on it just try another mode and see if it works. Keep whistling.

  • @TijdTekort I will try that... thanks for the kind words!!

  • That piano wasnt whistling, i feel so let down now ahhahahahaha, only messing with ya. Awesome as always Dave, more like this one please H&R Bro

  • @DibbersPage Haha, thanks Dibber!!

  • @9jesusislord Thanks!! You're too kind. :)

  • @0o0Horses0o0 Thanks! I've had a lot of people tell me that cracks them up. :D

  • @0o0Horses0o0 I'm not familiar with that tune... I'll have to check it out! Actually I was just messing around with chords that go to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Dear Prudence, Horace Wimp, and lots of other songs that use this chord progression.

  • your best video yet you suit the slow song

  • @Eddie09Grant LOL Best yet huh? Wow... Glad you think so! I like this style too, whistling is really well suited to slow mellow songs.

  • Cool.

  • @TheSimplyDaft Hey thanks for the Facebook post!! You rock!!

  • i practice everyday! wanna be as good as you!!

  • @GoBankaiGo Great!! Keep on whistling!! All it takes is practice, and a good ear for music!!

  • Where is the One Piece Oppening whistle?

  • @PeterlEnis Oh--I should have told you in the first place, it might be a long time before I do that. It's copyrighted music so it's illegal for me to do it without permission. That could take some time. I have contacted Toei Animation and Viz Media to see if they will give me permission to do it. But it might not happen... Often copyright holders want a lot of money paid for a license to use their music, even just to do a cover version. But I'm going to see what I can do... Stay tuned!

  • @WhistlersBrother You are awsome.

  • This is one of my favorites!

  • @rdidri Me too, I think this is one of my new favorites. I love this chord progression and I've been whistling this for a long time now, just never thought to sit down & record it along with the piano... (until now obviously.)

  • Man... this is so relaxing. I just sit back and enjoy it, LOL.

Hey, how can you whistle high notes like that? It always impresses me.

  • @trinisty Thanks! High notes... just takes practice. Lots of practice. As a kid I couldn't whistle anywhere near that high; developed my range over time. Glad you enjoyed this! :)

  • Hey Dave, I would love to start whistling;

But I can't get it to have the same prettyness as you.

Is their any effects you use on your whistling such as Reverb?

I just wanna confirm this, so I can start whistling like you!

  • @Cloud2424 Well, there's two parts to it. The first is, I have been whistling for almost 40 years (since I was 3) so I've had plenty of practice. But the second part is--you're right--I do put some reverb on there. It gives it that echo-ey sound that makes it sound much richer. It's actually not that unusual; in popular music, you'll often hear a bit of reverb on the vocal tracks. It gives it that sound like you're in a room with good acoustics.

  • This was pretty rad. I'm gonna share this. Great work. You multi talented fuck, you belong at least on the "30 Seconds To Fame" show.

  • @DeathlnATent LOL thanks! I'm not familiar with that show... I'll have to check it out.

  • Love it! :)

  • @nummysmom Thanks nummys!!

  • verry cool, but the piano would be better with sustain :D you should consider buying a damper pedal.

  • @jorg1piano I have one, but I think there's something wrong with my keyboard because I can never get it to work. I need to find my owner's manual and get to the bottom of it, see if there's something I need to do.

  • Wow! :D This is so beautiful!!!

  • @GamingFeo Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

  • Wonderful Dave! You are such a phenomenal whistler......so many techniques that keep us on the edge of our seats wondering what you are going to do next. Well done with the piano! Loved the ending.....it sounded like one of mine! I hope that life is treating you well, my friend.

  • @HandwhistlerBen Thanks Ben! I'm glad you liked it! Yes, life is... well, it's OK... Not homeless or missing any limbs yet so technically it's good. :) Hope you're also doing well!

  • Awesome as usual.

    :)

  • @goatgruffy66 Thanks man!
