How about a film based on the Ludlow massacre in Ludlow Colorado where the state militia machine gunned striking coal miners and their families who were living in tents. Or, one depicting the Battle of Anacostia Flats, or the attempted overthrow of the U.S. government by monopolistic capitalists during FDR's presidency in the 1930's. Or a film about the secret meeting at Jekyll Island, where they secretly set up the Federal Reserve System. Or one based on Eileen Wellsome's The Plutonium Files.

@mizzamystar Actually, I post no matter who likes it. As a matter of fact, generally I never comment on anyone else's post, as that is their opinion, and welcome to it. As for comments on what I say, that is also their right, and I generally don't read them as a practice. I find history as told in my high school, to be limited, selective, slanted, and glossed over. For instance Slavery, Wounded Knee, Sand Creek, and Wachita massacres were not covered thoroughly if at all.

I think a great idea would be where a credit card company steals a man's movie pitch, funds its productions and turns it into a multimillion-dollar blockbuster. The man sues the credit card company and loses all of his money through his litigation. His wife leaves him due to his obsession with reclaiming his idea, he loses his house, and his parents disown him. He then gets the idea to create a new persona, where he becomes employed at the company under a false name, and eventually bankrupts it.

To all those worried about them using your idea (not theft because they tell you that you will have no rights to what you pitch if they use it, and you must agree, to submit) you HAVE to have more than one movie pitch. I read an article that another company that held a similar contest, had a great response, & obtained thousands of excellent marketing ideas for free which would have cost them millions otherwise. Everyone is so caught up in the fact that they can use your idea even if you dont win. If you can only come up with ONE good idea for a movie and you think its "So Good" that you cant come up with another one, then you probably wont be that successful in the film industry anyway. It takes one idea to lead to another. A person submitting a fantastic idea and not winning can only inspire them to come up with a better one in the future. It's not that serious. I say just do it for fun.

@Strbrz Why are you going to film school? The money you pay to put yourself through school could be used to buy or rent yourself a camera and make a movie,. Everything you are learning in film school you can get from thousands of "how to make a movie" books. Plus, many of the best and/or prolific  filmmakers never stepped foot inside a film school.

@Strbrz Actually no. If you want to protect your rights, take plenty of screenshots of your upload date so they may not take your idea with any date after that date. Or, print out the idea, and mail it to yourself. The postal service will date it, so don't open it. Take it to court still sealed.

There are plenty of ways to protect your ideas, and they even say that they are not allowed to steal your ideas, and you still have all rights to it. Don't say it's unfair.
