Whatever your opinion on vegetarianism, to me, comparing animal slaughter to the Holocaust seems like an insult to me. While I love animals, humans are a higher priority to me. Putting animals on the same level as people who were loaded up in suffocatingly small train cars for days, starved, had their teeth pulled out, and were gassed to death is just wrong...it's insulting to the memory of the people who died in the Holocaust.

Because billions of animals are killed just for being what they are every year.
