I think the saddest part of this movie is when the kid's talking about how his dad doesn't spend time with him anymore. The other parts, while sad, were natural aspects of everyone's lives - age, death, and loneliness. But Russel's pain seemed really premature when juxtaposed with Carl's.

@Ryborstan Disney doesn't suck totally, I mean, they're the genius behind the classics like Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, and Cinderella just to name a few. But I totally agree with your statement that Pixar rocks. They've made 10 movies with Disney, (not counting Toy Story 3) and not one of their movie's quality was less than above average. That being said, when Disney first tried to make a CGI movie alone, (Chicken Little) it SUCKED.

i think Disney`got a problem: films such, g-force, and others with Stiller,where the mood is bad, (or the worst),and treats kids like idiots.

Pixar, was bougth by these "classic", give us no more than princesses, but, Pixar, they give us a real an very human emotions.! ejoy it!

I saw a longer trailer in the theatre today, and they meet this dog that has a collar that says what he's thinking! It goes like this:

*Dog comes up to them*

Dog: "Hey there....." *explains about his collar, then stops in mid sentence----

"SQUIRREL?" *Holds completely still and just stares off into the distance*

*Turns back to them*

"Hey there!"

Wow this movie looks awesome! Funny but might i say inspiring lol. Carl Fredrickson what a perfect old codger name. Pixar is just money in the bank, might as well pencil this one in as the 2010 Oscar winner for best animated feature.

Just think to yourself...could I have imagined this movie? Never in my wildest imagination could I have thought up such creative animated movies that appeal to more than just kids. Pixar's movies lead us to wonder about life and what's around us. Things that we overlook. They expand our imagination! From further previews, the movie will not dissapoint

Precisely, remember Wall-E? In all honesty I thought it was gonna be a mere kiddy film and thought it was the one Pixar film I wasn't gonna like. After actually watching it, it blew me away and I get absolutely swept away emotionally each time I watch it. And that's the key my friend, giving something a chance. Then you can criticize all you want fairly.
