this is not quite right. Yes, narcissists know that lying is wrong, but knowledge of wrongfulness does not end the discussion of legal responsibility. While in the US maybe this is held to be true, it cannot be ignored that the narcissist or sociopath or borderline or addict has less IMPULSE CONTROL, which means that the period of pre-offense deliberation does not allow these abnormal people the same opportunity for restraint, compared to a normal person.
Do you know much about PTSD of veterans and how it differs from the other people you discuss.
i remember one time my car had a flat battery. He told me that i could not jump start the car as it would destroy the computer. i knew this not to be so as I had started it this way many times. Telling him this triggerred a very abusive rage.
Telling him that the radio station he listenned to was a little right wing, triggerred another.....see ova
I have a relative whom I care about a great deal. His behaviour is Narcissistic and fits most definitions. He is a PTSD victim from the Vietnam war. I have been one of his carers. He has raged against me many times.
The last time his verbal tirade was deep and personal and required a great deal of thought and careful consideration i would think to come up with the material he used against me. He threatenned me with violence. I was driving a car and could do nothing but drive the car..see ova
