an actually good song to test out speakers in every way is a song that is actually pretty nice. Meteor shower by owl city. TRUST ME, TONS OF HIGH QUALITY BASS, but do remember to turn it down, theres more important things to sound quality. Too much bass just makes it sound awful.

Seems like your ear buds are broken, not plugged in completely, the earphone jack on your computer is broken, or you have the sound muted by accident. Good luck finding a fix!

my creative t12 speakers are handling this extremely well... for a less than 3 inch wide speaker its amazing... about 1/3 of the volume i can feel the desk rumble abit... the bass thingy in the back really hits the low ends well...i am extremely happy with these speakers... 18 waatts for such small speakers....

Coolest thing ever is putting them in a pool and cranking them up and watch the water boil... its like a freakin cauldren.

I recommend submerging the speakers under water while pumping 12,000 watts into them.

After all, they are sub-woofers and are totally waterproof

LMAO. This is awesome. Definitely more fun than just 40-50 Hz test tones. I use these on my upstairs neighbors for a few hours at a time when they decide to run around their apartment or turn up their crappy stereo. Definitely gets their seal of approval as noted by their stomping the minute I start playing it, lol.
