omg dang it i updated my wii to 4.3 but nothin happend and my wii is unlocked why is homebrew not doing anything and plus i want my homebrew to be gone completley.

I ALREADY HAVE 4.2 and mine says i have to update to play my new game and it "may detect and remove unauthorized content causing immediate or delayed inoperability of your console". does that mean it will brake if i update it? HELP PLEASE!!!

ok um i tried running the game on my backup launcher channel and after about 37 trys it worked so maybe u should try that cuz i didnt update and i beat the game

You can downgrade but, since 4.2 came out, they changed all of the system info so no not at the time.

I downgraded from 4.0 to 3.2 and soft modded my wii! BUT..

after almost 2 weeks my stupid brother updated my wii to 4.2U and now i can't load disks

i feel so bad i didn't know that this update will kill homebrew i was gonna buy the new froger from wii shop , then they asked me for update i did update to 4.2 u ,, now i can't play neo geo i have 4 sd card full of games and emulator ,,

i also heard u cant play new super Mario bros if u don't update it to 4.2 !!!

should i buy another wii for home brow only ! or the solution is coming soon ??

easy man..you can uninstall the whole thing and update to 4.2...make sure that you have NTSC U not K modded to U..because the new updates will kill your will..

and after that just install the HBC and the rest files and emulators.

just use usb loader gx and a jump drive OR use a program(from wiibrew)to patch the mario bros disk.

wii system update 4.2 is the best now they mad awsem hacks not softmod and i finaly get to play wii games burnt onto a disk :D

Am with my 4.0 E lmfao.

As i have seen on Websites and fourms that the New 4.2 can kill your Wii if you have got it modded or not! Nintendo will fix it for free if it's not modded.

So nope am with 4.0 all the way sorry lol.

i have a wii but im afraid to update it because of the risk of it bricking, i dont have a hacked or modified unit, but ive read that this is happining to legitimate consoles...

the best thing to do is wait till the next update comes out....
