I saw the Twin Towers for the last time a month before they fell in August 2001. That was my last time in New York. It's a lot different seeing them up close than on TV. They were so tall.

I don't remember this awful, tragic day with my own eyes, since I was only 5 that day, and I don't live in USA. But it's a day that makes everyone out there feel sorrow. I hope all the innocent people that was killed that day, and the heroes who died fighting against this rest in peace.
I don't really like this poetic attitude toward that day but if you watch it closely, you can see that that day was a borderline in history. The movies, music, life in itself has a different mood before that. After that, everything changed a little... As if we realized somehow that violence isn't the solution... I was 7 and watched the news with my cousins and my sister... we were only little children but we knew exactly what was happening.... Even in Germany and in schools people were talking about it! I mean we were so young and still we all thought this is the beginning of a terrible war... Then, the news turned into images of the World Trade Center, showing how the planes crashed on the buildings, one by one... I was confused and scared... I asked Mom: "Mom? We shouldn't be celebrating Osama Bin Laden's death. He was a monster to us, but to someone else, he was a husband, or a son, or a father. He was a human being. I am glad that he can no longer cause harm to anyone, or make anyone feel like people did on 9/11, but a death isn't something to be celebrated. We can't cancel out his hatred with more hate. I write from Italy. Today I prayed to God for all people who have died in the apocalypse of September 11, ten years ago. I hope that my thinking has helped the families of people who went to heaven.

I don't remember this awful, tragic day with my own eyes, since I was only 5 that day, and I don't live in USA. But it's a day that makes everyone out there feel sorrow. I hope all the innocent people that was killed that day, and the heroes who died fighting against this rest in peace.

I don't really like this poetic attitude toward that day but if you watch it closely, you can see that that day was a borderline in history. The movies, music, life in itself has a different mood before that. After that, everything changed a little... As if we realized somehow that violence isn't the solution... I hope this event means the turning point in becoming a united race. May all the people rest in peace who lost their lives on that day.

I really hope that nobody plans something like this again... today 2 alleged terrorists were arrested in Berlin... people suppose they planned an attempt because in 2 days it's the 11th of September.... And i think this weekend or next week the pope is expected in Germany... I'm really afraid that somethin like this happens again... I'll pray and hope that nothing like 9/11 will ever happen again...

I was 7 and watched the news with my cousins and my sister... we were only little children but we knew exactly what was happening.... Even in Germany and in schools people were talking about it! I mean we were so young and still we all thought this is the beginning of a terrible war... We all should unite on Sunday and pray for all of the innocent victims and their family members and friends...

The guy who composed this came to my school and did a free piano concert and played this song (just the piano) it was so moving. He got a room full of loud stupid obnoxious high schoolers to shut up and sniffle (in a good way). Thats what good music does

I still remember that September afternoon... I was 5, and I was watching the news with my Mom, as we were just eating lunch, as any normal day... Then, the news turned into images of the World Trade Center, showing how the planes crashed on the buildings, one by one... I was confused and scared... I asked Mom: "Mom? Why are there planes crashing against buildings? Is that a movie, Mom?" My Mom was terrified, she though it was the end of the world, or that a war was starting...

I cannot imagine the horror Americans had on that day. I'm not even American, and I stared at the tv when breaking news came on, "World Trade Center Under Attack." Then I saw the buildings collapse live, and all I could think about was.. "Thousands of people are dying right now."

Bloody hell, it´s already been 10 years since it happened! Even though I´m not american (swedish), it really affected me when I heard about it...I was in class, and the muslims at my school were all cheering (not all of them but most of em), how can u be happy about innocent people dying???!!
I bet that the families to the victims can´t believe its been so long either, since the attack I mean, if it were me...I would just go through life sleepwalking...so to speak, hoping I´d wake up soon!

We shouldn't be celebrating Osama Bin Laden's death. He was a monster to us, but to someone else, he was a husband, or a son, or a father. He was a human being. I am glad that he can no longer cause harm to anyone, or make anyone feel like people did on 9/11, but a death isn't something to be celebrated. We can't cancel out his hatred with more hate. As Mahatma Ghandi said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". Let's stop hating each other, and try love.
