  • toivottavasti ne toimitsijat jotka eivät välittäneet siivota öljyä radalta 20.5-73 ovat eläneet vittumaisen elämän !

  • I saw him at Mallory for the race of the year, and he was a class above everyone. Fantastic rider.. Very Sadly missed...

  • I raced and still own the same 250 TD3 Yamaha he raced.

  • I saw him win the "Race of the year" at mallory and several races at silverstone,I had photos of everyone sat up breaking hard into Stowe corner, but Jarno at the same spot was flat on the tank with the throttle wide open, :-) wat a rider LEGEND doesn't come close. Sadly missed.

  • I was at Brands Hatch in 1971 and Saarinen was 'drifting' his Yamaha around Druids. Never seen a bike 'drifted ' before, common these days but not then. A wonderful rider who was taken far too soon. RIP.

  • La seule chose réconfortante, c'est que ces deux grands pilotes sont morts en vivant leur passion.

  • My dad still reminds me of Jarno everytime I mention how fantastic driver Rossi is. He still thinks The Baron would've broken all the records Agostini made until Rossi came and demolished the record books.

Nicely made video, thanks for that.

  • I only ever saw Jarno race once, at the first GP at Anderstorp. I was working for an Oz bike mag and had been specifically asked to check out this suicidal Finn, blindingly fast, knew no fear, 'an accident waiting to happen' (yes, but Monza wasn't his fault). I found the complete opposite. Jarno was so SMOOTH and precise he was a Finnish Peter Williams. So he hang off the bike, so did Smart. Jarno, was so boringly smooth you had a job seeing him on the track, he was past before you saw him!

  • Its a shame he's practically unknown in his own country, damn f1 drivers..

  • What a great tribute to the Paroni! There was a few succests moments of his currier, how many he could have more, if there was not happened that katastrofi, we can only wonder. Perhaps there could be more history of his beginnig in Ruissalon Ajot in Turku. I became a true fan in 1965 when there was tuff TT racing in narrow road between trees in Ruissalo, what a atmosfier with sounds and smells! Let´s not forget Jarno, he was so talent driver and great human!

  • Really nice video. Such a tragic loss as it is when any racer is killed. There was so little regard for their safety back then but they were all heros.

RIP Jarno, Pasolni and all the brave men who have perished entertaining us lesser mortals

  • un grande...un unico e ninimitebile stile di guida. Sarai sempre nei nostri cuori!!!

  • Hello Saari64! This was a great Video about Jarno; you have spent a lot of time for this; fantastic! On 6.45 I can see the start lap of the 250 cc race at the Grand Prix in Hockenheim; and the last rider at the picture is Börje Jansson. I have this original bike now and I am interesting at this picture in better quality; can you contact me please? Regards Jarnoparoni
