I do agree with those critcal of the dancing, but it's because he isn't really much of a dancer and his moves get old quickly. A very athletic & talented professional dancer would be cool. Maybe even circus performers tumbling or that sort of thing... another idea: a talented juggler, juggling conductive objects. I could also see a sort of Blue Man Group thing done here with the right crew of talent, not only on stage but behind as well.

His dancing may not serve a 'purpose,' but if you ask me, I think it has just as much merit as any professional singer choreographing their dance routine on stage. It's certainly a cool demonstration.

Only the ego of a lame human would think it to be a good idea to steal the show from the REAL stars (the Tesla Coils), and make a fool of himself in front of an audience, pretending to do stuff while not really contributing anything to making the sounds. @sbilts It's the other way around. It looks lame and ridiculous because of the unnecessary, useless dancing fool, the human. But it sounds fantastic, because that is the sound of electricity, not any human-made 'instrument' per se (although of course Tesla Coil can be considered an instrument). It's the sound of lightning, and you call it a stylophone!

@Gmoooba Sorry sir but I have to disagree there, Just because electricity is amazing doesn't mean it sounds good.Thunder is amazing too but I can make a passable imitation(albeit much quieter)using a Pringles tube with a spring attached to it...The sound on the clip is indistinguishable from a Stylophone The Tesla coils would not cut the mustard in a studio recording environment but look good because they are zapping the bloke between them..its a sort of symbiotic relationship for entertainment.

He does not belong there, no matter if he has composed/arranged the song or built the Tesla coils from his own armpits - he is not needed there, his dancing does not alter the sound or add anything to it in any way - becoming lame, ridiculous, useless and a definite ego-trip. People find ways to get attention without doing anything worthy that would warrant it. Idiotic.
