Instead of criticizing the bus driver, you should criticize his company for improper training. At least he has since enough to ask someone to guide him the right way.
true that, poor fella did the right thing by asking me to guide him. dont think i was actually criticising him realy, its clear he just didnt know the route and i was the hero!
This is normal. Training is often poor, depending on the company and situations like this where the bus driver is sent out without knowledge of the route, is very common in London. Training is expensive and where it is NOT REQUIRED by the authorities, it is ignored... they say that "things will take care of themselves with time...". When buses were all under one roof (London Transport) these things were unthinkable, as training was a serious thing.
Are you a bus driver yourself?? I didn't know it was like that for the drivers. Also I heard my vid was on the BBC news concerning what you mentioned above.
