Every time I try to saw the lines along the burr holes and connect the holes, I can't remove the bone plate.

I just cant get past drilling the burrholes. I use the exact same method like you, I just dont know how to stop drilling. I left click once, but when the pitch of the drill sound changes I dont know how to stop. I tried left and right clicking, that didnt work. If I just wait, it wont stop by itself, if I try to move the drill away they say I skid it. It's just frustrating.

@kicsiqki DOSBox has this glitch that keeps the drill from stopping if you use the mouse. Instead, hold down the Enter/Return key and let go when the sound of the drill changes.

I'm doing this procedure right as far as I can tell -- I get the aneurysm clip on, I remove the retractors, and close up... and then Dr. Skelton tells me I didn't clamp off the aneurysm! WTF? Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

this is 2d but its like wasmen9 said, a medical simulation.

lifesigns and trauma center are no simulations, they are just some dexterity games with fun elements.

i think everybody can play and succeed in them.

in life&death you first have to read through the whole medical stuff and know what you are doing, otherwise the patients will die immidently.

not to mention that this is a much older game than Trauma Center. this was for the AMIGA, which was a very primitive computer. I'd say Life and Death is a very advanced game for the time. Trauma Center is on the DS and Wii, which are much more powerful.

BTW its not very realistic though.

When you fuckup every writer of an medicine book and every poster of an medicine video, it wont improve medicine and surgery.

Well i excally really study medicine, but i ve learned by doing it. it took a lot of time but this game makes you addicted ;)

Try to listen to da word of da man in da Medicin class in da game, he tells you a little bit how to operate...

Exactly! I learnt most things in class and in neurology book exept the operations. I learnt operations on youtube and I managed successfuly operated only once, but it's quite easier to play than life and death 1.
