Wow. I didn't realize this version of the logo existed, just the "blue streak" one. No wonder they brought it back a few years ago for the 20th anniversary.
That's interesting because the KRS Logos website says that this logo is extinct, but I then again there is other incorrect information on that website.
On the other hand is the other 1985 Touchstone film "My Science Project" Pan & Scan (1,33:1) on Region 2, while 16:9 enhanced (2,35:1) on Region 1. Disney has strange policy on releasing their backlog material indeed...
I wonder if that logo was spotted on the early 1st season episodes of the Golden Girls, but with Television instead of pictures, and the shrinking park has ben cut out.
It was not. The Golden Girls, in its original NBC run, had the end part of the 1985 Touchstone Films logo in its 1st season, then "Touchstone Pictures" from 1986 to 1988, and "Touchstone Television" from 1988 to 1992. The DVDs all have "Touchstone Television," however.
@GameShowFan94 Actually, it was not. The most recent DVD release of "My Science Project" features the blue snake logo.

I think that KRS Logo doesn't know about a television version of this logo, from the Golden Girls early 1st season episodes.

The "Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend" DVD is, alas, full screen.

Not on Region 2 DVDs...
Ruvirija 4 years ago
Oh, I see; it's indeed 16:9, enhanced for widescreen TVs in Region 2, PAL. The full-frame version is Region 1, NTSC.

@Ruvirija The region 1 DVD is not 16:9 enhanced (anamorphic).
