I think what Plato was describing was a ghetto,garden,or guarded city,or gated community,surrounded by motes,circular,These may have been common on the west coast of Europe and Africa to protect the inhabitant from large toothed predator attack,the last European lions went extinct around this time I believe.A good example of these types of ghettos is the walls of Benin in Africa.

He had two "theories" that could explain the cognates in the languages. One of could be that there was an ancient superior civilization that existed long before the Egyptians, and Mayans. Another was that there had to have been a sea connection or a trade connection with Egypt and the Mayans. If I ever get the chance of finding that book I'll come back and explain some knowledge this guy has offered. His book is what got me looking this stuff up and eventually finding your works as well.

@nightfireivey Sure, that sounds great. Thank you. The Egyptians and Mayans don't have any records of each others' existence (i.e., no records of warfare, trade or contact, no maps, no sea routes, etc.) Yet the civilizations are "twins" in so many ways. Consequently, most Victorian era scholars posited the idea that an ancient "superior civilization" (now lost to time) existed in the remote past, and that this superior civilization was the Parent of both the Egyptians and Mayans.

If I ever get time to go back to my library, I need to check out a book that I once read a few months ago. It was by an Archaeologist who traveled in Mexico studying the Mayan pyramids. He studied a lot about the ancient languages that now are long extinct. In the book be states a lot of cognates between the Mayan and the ancient Egyptian languages and I think he also found some with the ancient Sumerians as well.

@nightfireivey Thanks, great comment! Is the book titled "The Sound of Meaning: Comparative Linguistics of Ancient Egyptian, Maya and Nahuatl"? If so, I read it and it's very interesting! Modern scholars reject the idea that the same laws of comparative linguistics used to link European languages to Sanskrit also apply to ancient Egyptian, Maya and Nahuatl. This is because scholars won't even consider the possibility that the Egyptians and Mayans were somehow connected.

Hey - you raise really valid points. It's unfortunate that society takes what's easy to believe at face value. I think Atlantis was a great civilzation that very likely had relations with extraterrestrial life.

AMAZING video! So much evidence, that its difficult to disagree! I stumbled on your website by trying to research the origin of the Freemasons and Illuminati. You might find this video interesting, although I'm not sure if there is any weight behind it. It does suggest that life began from Atlantis though, and its an interesting alternative of 4 races moving to different areas of the world.
