I SAW HER AGAIN LAST NIGHT HALLOWEEN ! The lift was broken but she threw herself across to front centre stage and SMASHED IT !! HER BEST EVER OMFG !!! She is andf always will be the BEST ELPHABA FOR ME ! The best Elphaba performance i have EVER heard live and across youtube !!

Love this!! as far as im aware Rachel didnt perfrom on fridays performance of Wicked as she is suffering from a cold and sounded bunged up at Wednesdays matinee show (frienjd went to see it), but still, to give this performance whilst having a cold...bloody hell!! isnt she awesome :)

Great video unidan!!! She is phenomenal, an absolute powerhouse of a singer and I shudder to think (in a good way) of how awesome she will be on her final night in December. I know actors like to vary their roles during their career but she needs to be cast in Wicked on Broadway to show them what she is made of. She is the finest singing Elphaba to grace the Apollo. On a sidenote, I love the way she sings "(deserves the chance) TO FLY" in this video. Very nice indeed.

does anyone else feel like she was not enjoying the performance as much as she did last year? it seemed like she was more worried about getting the vocal perfect than enjoying it. She seemed almost.... timid at the end when she spoke......

perhaps she's still a bit poorly (as i am too :( )

@unidan82 I think the wizard and I, what she sang last year, is a lot more of a fun song. She was really having fun in that, and I think she is having just as much here, but it's a different type of song, a lot more atmospheric. If you watch the interview she did after this, you can tell how much she enjoyed it! I think it's just the song!
