I think the best way to using Exdeath (I love using it) is to learn how to use Omni Block u_u

ExDeath is probably strongest if one can use efficiently, as he can block almost everything. But if the enemy won't attack, only counter attack, he is useless.

AGREE!!!., dont underestimate exdeath., but as for my part., i prefer OMNI-BLOCK., whichever bLock to use., its on the pLayer using it though., but for me again., OMNI-BLOCK makes exdeath INVINCIBLE!!!

@leeroyleo123 not necesarily you want to break your opponent to gain the max effect, the opponent could easily enter ex-mode and regenerate their lost hp, it's best to gain brave and max it out then use hp attacks to guarantee a 1 hit ko (unless they got last chance)

Exdeath is not that slow in FFV. In fact he is so fast, he creates after images when he moves.

@pandemonstrosity thats reverse polarity, ex-death is so slow because he's carrying the weight of a massive tree but thats why ex-death is a badass because badasses walk slow and wait for the nearest retard (generally tidus) to dash stright into him only to be punished by ex-death and sent to the void

@DADIDIMUN Exdeath's a tree remember? Play Warcraft 3 then, uproot an ancient protector(night elf) and have that walk. You would see the similarities on why Exdeath's slow.

dude even though cloud's moves are predictable to exdeath... i just spam exdeath with hp attacks.... i mean if cloud is in ex mode exdeath is pawned even with the omniblock because i can just easily fake my moves with cloud... cloud may be slow but equip him with speed boost++ that would solve the problem... but i am also a pro with exdeath just can't get a hang with his omniblock though..

Omni Block only blocks physical, Nightglow does physical and magical at the same time, he can't block both, and even if he somehow managed to block it, the hp still attacks anyway, and he would be stuck in place for a few seconds.

But if the magic part of Nightglow is one hit, with good timing, Exdeath can block it with Omniblock - provided that Exdeath isn't first hit with the physical. I'm not really sure how many hits the magical does though... I usually dodge it instead since I only omniblock physical hp attacks. =/ Efficiently, that is.

Just wondering, never used Exdeath much, is High Guard more useful then All Guard? Like i mean is it better overall or just depends?

High guard is also called Long guard because the more you hold the longer its duration. Long guard is useful because ur guard is longer so if u guard too early u can juz hold it and wait for ur enemy to be blocked. however the disadvantage of long guard is its long recory time and ur completely vulnerable behind. On the other hand, Full guard provided complete protection (front and back) BUT! the guard takes longer to set up and u have to time ur block with RELEASE and dats hard to do in battle.

when EXdeath is on EXmode his counter attacks gain twice as much attacks. 4 sword strikes, 4 white balls or 2 hurricanes
