Its not the singer...it's the musicians..they dont know how to play it to his voice. He has a good vocal..very smoky and mellow, u dont want the song to be sung like Bread..no one can sing like Bread...but if the muso's were more intune with the lead singer then it would sound pretty good....not bad for a bunch of geriatrics!!!! Keep praciticing ol dudes!
I like his voice the only problem here i think is that its not the type of genre for his voice..you should try some soulful/jazz music it might fit.God Bless!

you've got the song very well.. im amazed that you've got it right.. im also in band and im the bassist, im impressed with ur bassist because he got the right bass for the song.. but sadly, ur vocals are not good..
