Thanx for d review..just have a couple of qns.. do u recommend the laptop based on 3 months of ur usage?..also is the weight of the laptop 1.21 kg with the battery or without it?

@FRoMIYER Ofcourse 1.21 kgs with battery. In fact it is the lightest in this category, because SONY and DELL all have their models at about 1.43 kgs or more.

Now, whether you should buy this is or not will be totally your call depending upon your needs. (read all comments below to get a fairer idea). Though I lost this lappie to theft after 2 months of usage only, I was not too sad really, (ofcourse the theft was a disappointment). ....(contd in next comment)

@FroMIYER The processor from AMD is not really that great especially running Win-7 (home basic only), but it will work fine if running a few softwares and net browsing, movies and a bit of very light gaming is all you do. If you really want a 11.6 inch notebook only and can afford 10 grands extra, go for the one with the Intel Core-i3 processor from Samsung, or if about 400gms weight isnt too much for you, there is the Dell 13Z at abt 36000 INR with a 13.3 screen and a decent i3 processsor.

@MrBlogger11 No, Mr. Blogger, but its actually a very old guy and tends to lose the auto-focus thingy (so kinda woozy). Sorry, will try to fix that in my next review. :))

Hey nice review...... Do you know whats the video memory of this graphics card on this comp??

@xbox360rs3 It has ATI radeon 6320 video graphics card, no dedicated memory sorry. but speeds clock at about 500-600 Hz. the card is actually integrated with the mother-board (ofcourse in such a small laptop!)... though i dont really think it could possibly support high end gaming... old ones should run fine. like fifa 11. I actually had this laptop stolen (and ofcourse no hopes of getting it back thanks to Indian police!!), but let me tell u.. the processor was a bit sluggish..

@xbox360rs3 (contd..) ...in fact at times i even believed there was something wrong with my particular piece. Even while changing the row and column width in excel files, it used to hang up.. so do check out other reviews.. othe wise i believe this one is the 'best in class'.. :) ofcoursei fu can splurge more, go for the ones with the Core-i3 processors. (will cost abt 10 grands more..)

Well, to be honest, although the specs say it has a 1.3 MP HD cam, honestly I did not find the camera that upto the mark. (may be due to the slowish processor). Even though I played quite a lot with the light settings too. But again, its okay if video-confernceing isnt ur primary concern. Sound is good, and let me know what other things you want to know about.

@Drake251195 i brought it from kolkata.. U can buy it off the shelves from many stores in Delhi.. It would have reached them... if not, the samsung plaza stores ought to have them. Go and have a look at them there, so that u do not lament over the color things... yes u can get this online, though there isnt much of a price difference, so no point really. See i got this one for 22,000 INR after a lot of price research in the market for the version u asked. The E-350 will cost one grand less. Also, since now the notebook will be available in most shops, u can buy 'em off the shelf for may be a couple hundreds cheaper.

See, obviously do not expect a Hi-Fi sound quality, but yes let me tell you that I was using an ASUS 1000ha, which inspite of having DOLBY, wasnt too good. This one however, has a good pitch (recontd in nxt commnt)

..gud for watchin movies on d go, and i believe d bst in its class(which most of d features are) The spkers are placed just beyond the keyboard (not under the base), so d knd of surface u keep it on wnt affct d playbck. The batt is awesome, (though weighs abt 40% of the complte lappy's wt). testd it 4 a day on full chrge for surfing, a bit of work, a few vids, with brks in betwn, nd it lastd almst 12-13 hrs,... So battery life is QUITE impressive, acc. to me.. do ask anything else if u need..
