  • Wow this is JUST what I needed! tHANKS SOOoOo much for uploading this!

  • wonderful art work of shakespear

  • This nurse is amazing! I really like the way she attacked her lines. My school is doing the play and I got the part of Benvolio, I'm hoping I can pick up some good ideas of how to say my lines from this

  • Oh my, my school is doing this play and their nurse couldn't do it so they adopted me yesterday and the play is friday! I have three dayds to do lines and figure out this character!

  • the lady kiss juliet then why must the nurse also kiss

  • @MsJosephine98 Because the nurse had a baby that died so Juliet is like a daughter to her.

  • the nurse so kpo

  • the nurse so what n ugly

  • why is that crazy nurse always popping up you gotta love her

  • Thanks this has been a big help as i'm going to audition for the nurse or lady capulate monday

  • juliet is so pretty :)

  • tom hanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why Is she wearing so many skirts? lol

  • @TheBlueblackFairy They wore plenty of skirts back then, partly for modesty, and partly to make their dresses poofier.

  • wow juliet is fourteen! wow i guess the good really die young

  • Shakespeare in love is really good too.

  • Beautiful Juliet!!!

  • I wonder what Juliet realy thinks of her self, what if she saw a begger with a wound on his leg with flies alll over? woow she has not seen the sun light for 14 years...only nasty thing she has seen in her life is the Nurse's face, which is not so bad.

  • Laurence Harvey is really terrible in this, which is really surprising. He is very good in most of his other films - "The Alamo" (1960) (he was Col. Travis), "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962) (as Raymond Shaw), "Summer and Smoke' (1962) and (don't laugh) even "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm". Why is he so effeminate and stilted in this? Leslie Howard is much better as Romeo in the 1936 version, not to mention Leonard Whiting in 1968!

  • He looks like a dark Ewan McGregor in this film!!!

  • the swords you will see are Rapiers! usually used with a dagger. in this age swords were becoming narrower. by 1734 they were skinny shorter bendy things! still used in fencing today. there is Rapier fencing as well. with daggers included !

  • @acerb45666555 yeah the Italian swords are nasty, they are short, and made for close engagement...which would have been advantageous at the battle front because large swords were diffcult to manouver and slow.

  • I love the music, its just so Retro.

  • juiley should be 13 not 15

  • I got my chick falling on her back. XD

  • chicks b4 dicks

  • no guy today would risk their necks its now bros b4 hoes haha

  • omg this is boring im going to read the book instead...

  • That crazy nurse. Got to love her.

  • @JackSafferyRowe wooo I wanted to be an intellectual, but soon i will have to go to a job like washing the dishes, which is much more worse than the job the Nurse has of washng her 1st calss feet and wiping them just becsue she is a 3rd class person....

  • poor good old Nurse...

  • but I dont like the way this pompous women ruling the brain of men either even in this beautiful play. I would never wash someons feet, eww disgusting how could Juliet use the maids like that? its so cruel. I hate this Marbel Palace life just as much as I hate savages who oil their women, I like the life of Shakesphear who was a genious. A genious is the ideal life of a man.

  • I have always wanted the world to talk that way.

  • I agree with youu lol x

  • LOL i cant believe our language has gone from "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day" to "Yo my home skillet biscuit wazzup"

  • I know, its because the savages are not given civilized instructions. Its not their fault. They have no self control or anything, they neve lived in marbel palaces. its the fault of media that destroy children's brain. People should learn self control. self control is what all geniouses have and all savages not.

  • thanks for posting! this will help me so much on our school play.. :D

  • Why don't people speak this way anymore. The language is so soft and much less choppy than the language we speak now. It just seems to roll off the tongue! A great book and movie!

  • Evolution mate.

  • good fellow the language was destroyed by the freedom of expression given to all the idiots. Because no one ever said "freedom of intellectual expression". Its never in this world the word "intellectual" it is always freedom freedom. and you know what people in Iraq and Isreal have no freedom, they are bombed, but those children will do great things if they have freedom, people in free countries dont use their freedom on the benifit of mankind. its always rock and roll rock and roll and rap

  • I LOVE Romeo and Juliet! I watched it as a 7 year old but then I never watched it again. Thank you for bringing it back to me.

  • I like Romeo, he is a good man, he is not using those poor women as slaves. I hate when in movies the maids are so ugly and the women who make use of them are so beautiful. the maids can be more beautiful.

  • Thank you so much for posting these! I am a huge fan of Shakespeare and these have helped me a great deal with my schoolwork. Romeo and Juliet is one of my favourites.

  • I realized do to the other versions of Romeo & Juliet, that this version needs better lighting, but I watching all of them! thanks for posting them!

  • @Drumstixx5 ITS SUPPOSED TO BE GOTHIC!!!

    Lighting sucks...
