@shocka777 Haha whitechapel is my secound fav band but The Black Dahlia Murder is by far my number 1. Absolutely awesome and TBDM has the best lyrics probably in history. I love how he can write a whole song and not have to repeat lines to fill in. Rock on.

I just don't feel that Ryan's solos fit in that well with BDM, from what I've heard.. I mean I miss johns solos, I could remember them after like 1 listen and they kept the song dark and made it better.

I know I really know how every single solo sounds. They were really memorable. The more I listen to A Selection Unnatural the more the solo grows on me maybe it'll be the same for you. It just might feel weird at the moment cause of the change.

Your acoustic solo kinda reminded me of Conducting From the Grave. And if you like Black Dahlia, you should give Closed Casket a listen they're from Australia. If you don't know about The Absence you should listen to them too. It sucks that you live in Sweden cause judging from your youtube account you would love the Rockstar Mayhem Festival.

No problem dude, I just like perpetuating the cycle of musical discovery. And I'll definitely check out Infernal Method. Australia's got the jams man. Gallows For Grace quickly became one of my favorite bands when I found out about them (you should check them out, they're a bit different but very good). Hopefully Australia will spawn their own Death Metal movement and be the next 1990's Sweden.

Yea I liked Johns guitar style a lot but its ok I guess. Trevor's interview with Hardtimes made me not like John as much. John supposedly was dragging them down with his lack of work ethic and wanted to leave the band for a while and they knew he wanted to leave, apparently to spend more time with his wife and child. I'm excited for Ryan from Arsis though but there's no way to tell for sure until we hear this new album. It's all in the video search Hardtimes Ca The Black Dahlia Murder interview.

Yea did u hear the solo on a selection unnatural? I was like what the balls is this shit but after a while i got used to it and theres about two seconds i don't like of it still but it grew on me. Still i wanna hear the rest of the solos i dont really no how i feel about them yet. He is still an amazing guitarist nonetheless.

Yea those couple little hammer ons (I'm guessing) sound a little like Bodom-esque keyboards for a second. I don't wanna discourage the guy if he reads any of the comments about his solos I still think his leads are pretty sick and the solo wasn't the worst I've ever heard or anything. Trevor said he put down some of the best solos they've ever had so that should give us hope. Deflorate should be effin' sick. Can't wait to see them at Mayhem and with Bodom/Skeletonwitch in Sept. Keep it up guys.
