This one is called Above the Asteroids and you can find it on AlienHand's website, should be one of the top results when you google 'AlienHand'. It should be under his Eve project on his website.
yeah...they just took that left wing off a lil while ago...just moved the things over there to the right side, but you don't have those cargo menus anymore.
Yeah, the latest version is lopsided. I like this first version the most, the picture-in-picture stuff is unnecessary and the whole thing is becoming way too busy. As they say in engineering - "keep it simple, stupid." :)
yeah, i don't mind having that pic in pic thing, but as you said, it isn't really necessary, but with this new UI it does seem to flow very easily...i have spent a lot of time in it with the new T3 ships and all and it does seem to be a bit more ergonomic...a bit easier to use i guess.
mmm this brings back nostalgic memories of when I first was playing Eve...everything was shiny and pretty and the tutorial lady's voice talking...and the excitement of buying a merlin and thinking I could take the world in it...
Sadly...when you get further into it, it loses the 'big and beautiful' feel to it and becomes a bunch of red flashy square battles with tiny effects that are on the small sliver of space left on your screen from the screen-hungry interface
yea when you're a a year and a half veteran, you tend to long for that new to the game feel....i tried to get it by making alts in races i never flew...wasnt the same
Yeah, I've been playing for more than three years now, having started just after Red Moon Rising deployment. I haven't been this excited about an expansion since Trinity.
I've only ever had one character, though training up for new ships has always been the thing to keep me going. But you're right, there's nothing quite as exciting as being completely new to Eve.
Just a heads up to anyone who catches this - the fitting menu has changed a bit since I posted this. It now uses a picture-in-picture system to display the ship image in the center, and the window is now movable.
nice, i love this now u can see ur ship rather than having it covered with endless windows. does anyone know if this is the screen u will use to put together ur modular ships, if so that awesome! go CCP, ICELAND FTW
Yes, you can change your Tech 3 subsystems using the new fitting screen.
However, in order to assemble the Tech 3 ship, you have to have one of each subsystem in your hangar and select each one out of a box menu when you right-click the chassis and assemble the ship the very first time. Not as nifty as the new fitting screen.
playing around with it on the test server myself, its complete crap and I hate it. Or its just bugged like everything else there. they have ALOT of work to do before march.
Wow this is awesome song!
Where can i download this "version" of this song?

I'm playing Apochrypha and it doens't look like that at all... why did they change it? I like this one WAY MORE!

I agree, but I guess they wanted to play more with the picture-in-picture capability they added to the engine.
At least they improved the slot arrangement on the one currently in-game.

Sadly. The old one looked picture perfect almost. Just the right touch of everything Damn you CCP! It was perrrrrfect!
