What about with children who can't fathom the concept of empathy. I was one of those kids who my parents could beg and plead with me until the cows came home and I still wouldn't do what was asked of me becuase I wanted to countinue with what I was doing and COULD NOT see things from another person's point of veiw. Praise or appricaition meant nothing to me. I needed something tangible as a reward. What do you suggest in cases like that?
