Yes, they have the right to an education, but their parents don't send them to school unless they can get food or something else from there. They marry their daughters very young, so they don't send them to school in order to avoid "temptation".

Remember that the first education is given by the family, and their sort of education corrupts their children forever.

In West European countries they are offered help to integrate, find a job, get a place to live, and free education, but the problem is that some of them refuse to receive the help. It's easier to send the women out in prostitution and send the children out to steal on the streets, with force. They earn much more by doing that, than by getting a work for a low salary. The children are the victims, they are tought a way of living that can't function in a "civilized" society.

@tulipchic34 It is difficult to get an education when you travel and work. I was raised Roma in Canada, and I worked from age 9, but wanted an education too. I would get the books and assignment lists in September and bring the work back completed in mid-December and in May, to give time for marking. I sometimes went a long way for exams. Now it is easier with distance education but that was not an option then. I graduated and am in University now - I work for myself so no discrimination.

I've got news for you, there are lots of Rroma here in the United States and they aren't a problem. I never hear anyone complaining about gypsies. 1 week ago, a group of young gypsies destroyed a complete factory during factory holidays - they've stolen all the cables etc. and sold them for about 500 EUR and destroyed equipment for several million EUR.
