No it's a lie. Communism has constantly had a lower living standard. It was Free Enterprise that pressured Communism to treat it's citizens better. Owner operated business has always improved workers' conditions, causing private owned business to compete and treat workers better. Education has always been promoted by religion because Christians, Jews and Muslims want their people to read their holy books. Communists should be thankful.

Price isn't the only market factor. Some companies focus on quality instead of price. Others create tools and goods to fix or improve other goods. Supply and Demand may be the basis, but it is more complex than just consumption. There are several different business models to choose from and in Free Enterprise, both the buyer and seller choose. Ron Paul never said that. Those veiws were printed on the newsletter with his name on it. It doesnt mean he thinks that way. Its like if something got printed in a newspaper and the cheif editor didnt look it over and it got published. But RonPaul wasnt even the editor he was busy doing things with his campaign and congressional duties and did not have time to look over silly news letter.The only thing he did wrong was trust those people to do the right thing And he took responsibility for that

Ron Paul is listed as editor on several of the newsletters, and he only had four employees in Texas at the time the bigoted newsletters were written, Lew Rockwell Paul's close friend and former COS, and Paul's family. They were also published for FOUR years straight! An impossible amount of time not to receive complaints (unless your followers are bigots too, of course.) The newsletters are also written in 1st person. They were all published while Paul was out of congress.

Minorities have never had those privileges you mentioned below in this country, so the privileges of the white suburban family comes with a cost. I agree though, even now those white families are hurting. It's because we're shifting into corporatism, which is expected in an economy that rewards greed, and protects corporate wealth. Capitalism by definition if theft, because it entails that there is a private sector bureaucrat is between you and the market, stealing the profit from your labor. Socialism by definition means shared ownership of the means of production, so the workers decide how much they are payed, not a hierarchical elite.
