@ 1:35. This is the Duke Energy HQ in Charlotte NC. It was originally scheduled to be Wachovia IV, and the new Wachovia HQ, but with the purchase of Wachovia by Wells Fargo, Duke stepped in to lease the majority of the building instead of building another.

Half these buildings are already complete. If you notice when this video was added, it's was 2 years ago, and the freedom tower wasn't know as well as it is today.

LA is hard.

Every building is shiny and glassed. Also, at night, its lighted. Unlike Chicago. No shiny buildings. All office lights.

The city is also filled with oversized skyscrapers. So companies don't want to embarrass themselves.

But there aren't much rooms there.

For real, LA spends more money than Chicago and NYC city lights combined. (Office lights excluded)

But don't think LA skyline is small. Because LA have about 30 skylines. What you expect? LA is a very diverse city.

like it's been said, the las vegas crown tower has been cancelled, but i think they will soon come up with something similarly big (or bigger) to be built there since L.V. is one of the fastest growing cities, you forgot the waldorf astoria tower which is going to be built in chicago, miami will get a lot of new fabulous highrises in the upcoming decade, and san francisco's skyline is also going to be extended heavily in the years to come :) will be a great thing to see the transformations USA1#

On some streets in Calgary you can literally see seven or eight buildings going up.There are close to forty office buildings and condominiums being constructed in the mid town.

Encana`s headquarters will be 58 stories(after being shortened so that it won`t cast a shadow on the river pathways).Pennylane will have two buildings of 48 and 42 floors respectively and I`m not sure what size Centennial Place will be.But I do know that it consists of two buildings;one more than 40 floors. The one tower being built next to or close by the Bank of Montreal has a number of spiky looking ornaments on top;I`ve seen pictures but know neither who is building it or how tall it willb

i heard that vancouver has a 600foot limit on buildings---that was tall in the 60s but not now --its a world class city -they need to change the restriction to unlimited and get some 1500+ towers there to show off canada

Vancouver is already the 3rd most densely populated city in North America and I think most residents don't find any need to compete in a silly who's got taller buildings contest. Also top 3 cities to live in the world! That shows off Canada enough I think:)

not a liveable building but the australian power generating tower to be built for 700 million usd$ will be the tallest structure on earth at 2500ft, it will generate around 200megawatts in full sun , (its a air lift power generating tower) land has already been purchased, as for now dubai tower will be the tallest building with -the world finaicial center -in shanghai at 2nd, taiwans -101 tower- at 3rd, and the -petronis towers -at 4th,

I don't think any cities in the US or Canada will top Burj Dubai. There may be some cities in Asia such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Pusan are the possibilities. Just my opionion. And who knows may be some cities in Australia will top it, cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Perth. Thanks for your comment.

In Canada: Vancouver. That city continues to grow everyday. In the U.S.: Chicago. That city has the land, the money, and is world famous for its architecture. The most creative architects come from chicago.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mexico built an even teller one too...

Also, if you are savvy enough to do the fancy transitions, then perhaps you could do more - such as add titles to illustrate which buildings we are looking at.

This building is called Louisville's Museum Plaza in Louisville, KY. Unfortunately, It's one of my least favorite in this video. The one in Toronto & Montreal probably my choice of favorites
