Nice video, liking the different angles. Most one angle vids are so boring. I just bought a stickypod for my camera. Im doing Streets this Sunday. In the predicted 6" rain. Should be fun, and I dont have AWD like you do. Its gonna be a bitch.

What can I say...Strong left arm? When your going through 6 gears there is a lot of shifting to do. The EVO is easy to contol. If it makes you feel better I will work on using both hands next time.

You don't actually go through all 6 gears on track. I have never had a reason to use 6th gear on track and I've been on some pretty long straights at 140+. Except the cooldown lap but thats because I'm cruising.

Also have an Evo IX MR.

5th gear in a stock evo only hits about 125 at 6,700rpm... where u want to hit 6th... i have an 8 mr... u absolutly need all 6 gears at willow springs...

auto lol no it cant be. The only evo to have automatic transmisions are the Evo VII GT-A and the Evo IX Wagon.

Listening to the video Webaam it sounds like the shifts are silky smooth.

Really nice video, I especially like how you positioned the cameras. Is that a lap timer on the windshield? I hope you don't mind a little advice: you should try driving with both hands on the wheel, as you get faster you'll find that to be very important. I'll check your account for more videos from time to time. Good luck.

Thanks for the props! Its a G-Tech RR on the windshield. I rented a lap timer that was run by Redline Track Events so the times would be posted on their website. About keeping both hands on the wheel...The car handles so nicely that I could run most of the track one handed. My friend's Mustang GT fights you through the turns. The Evo always seems to go wherever I point it. Your advice seems good so I will try and keep both hands on the wheel. Thanks for the comment.
