I myself am thirteen and always get criticized because of my taste in music. Can you believe that in a class of about 35 kids nobody but me and my teacher like the Beatles, John Lennon, Bowie, and Pink Floyd? Unbelievable.

@ICanSpeakDino Totally know how you feel. I get criticized too . I love Beatles (and all their solo music too), Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Hendrix and Buddy Holly. But it's "gay" to listen to good music because techno, lady gaga, jonas brothers etc.. are just so much better. I think not :)

@ICanSpeakDino i was the exact same way when i was your age! believe me, when you get to college, you will find people with good taste in music! just give it time! you will find that special person who loves the same music. i met my boyfriend in high school and he knows just as much about the beatles as i do. and i have a beatles tattoo on my arm : ) keep it going! we plan on raising our kids on the beatles. their music will NEVER die. be proud to know what real music is.

They teach you to accept your environment, and being proud just because of your taste in music and approve other kids because they like Techno or something like that isn't tolerant.
