Why one must be better than the other?

Skateboarding is more technical, it's all about precision and weighting, snowboarding is "bigger", it's all about spinning and control. Skate lives in the streets, snow lives on the mountains, but they are twin, they can't be compared!!

A double cork 1080 in snowboarding is completely different than a 360 hardflip in skateboarding, but both of them are sick and SO difficult!!!

pros in ANY sport are pushing the limits of it. every professional is committing to the same level of human skill in whatever sport/art they're in. what you can DO with that skill level, determines the difficulty.

a pro with a set level of skill, could do a 1260 on a tabletop, but only be able to do a 360 with one binding out. therefore, although the 360 is less rotations, it is considered "more difficult" because applying the same amount of skill, you can only do so much.

the AMOUNT or VARIETY of tricks rarely comes into the equation. that is, because a sport/art has a million variations of tricks, does not make it "more difficult" - it simply makes it more diverse.
