No significance in his wins since the combined number of voters in those 3 states is smaller than in FL primary. Santorum and Gingrich can not win the general election without independent voters. Wife-cheating Gingrich is unreliable with erratic statements. Santorum couldn’t even win his senate re-election. Mitt Romney appeals to moderate and independent voters. Romney has the ELECTABILITY. Ron Paul is too old, some of his views are too extreme, unpopular with the mainstream, hard to win.

Yes I called welfare inconsequential because when you look at the 14 trillion dollar debt welfare is barely a fourth of that so where did all this debt come from? Santorum is not talking about where the debt came from and exact governmental spending breakdowns. Guess what? Many people who support him do so because he said that bit about blacks and welfare. The average person/voter is busy and don't pay close enough attention to be able to navigate all the miss information being thrown at them. And when you're stressed out because of finances you might be on over load from all the stresses you and your family are personally dealing with.
