I thought Red was screwed after not only failing to secure the sea parts of the map but then giveing up the entire northern part of the map to pink. Shows what not using your resources in smart way can lead to failure as well as showing what a good strategy can do.

pink didn't mass enough units for one big push, and by the time red got artillery it was too late. they had all the resources at the top of the map as well, wasted em.

one thing weird on this game is the artillery

it shoots like all the way across the map on to the other side

actually, the stationary artillery weapons take a long time to make and are of a high tech level. they can also be easily countered with bubble shields. mobile artillery are a LOT weaker too

what a bizzare conclusion... usually the first person to expand gets the fight. one things certain - once the artillery gets firin', if your initial attack force doesn't take it down, there ain't gonna be a second one...

it's spring with a map from original TA, all good maps are from OTA. I believe it's Called Voi Vittu- which means 'oh FUCK'
