@Brandooooooooooo yes, more difficult songs/rythymns will require several forms of picking to be able to play. anything fast will require at least alternate picking. If i was you id look into alternate picking, economy picking, and ease into some light sweep picking.

actually really good! my only advice would be (if possible) turn the bass on your amp all the way up and turn the treble down to about halfway. It gives the guitar a deeper, throaty growl to it, and sounds more like the song. Otherwise, great job!

That's an ESP EC-1000.. It's a nice guitar. I have the heavier version with the Floyd Rose Tremelo on it. Slow down just a bit man, but other than that it's pretty tight. There were some parts where you got off rhythym a bit.. but all in all, nice cover on a hard song.
