  • i prefer the catch versions but the snares in the streetlight versions are beauty, i love the crunchy punch

  • Although Streetlight has some of the same members...Catch 22 did it better.

  • I am going to break the replay button!! Love them! Put on a great show!

  • boom.

  • I thought this was a Catch 22 song. I know someone from Catch 22 went on to Streetlight Manifesto, but if this a cover it sounds the exact same.

  • @IIFROSTFIREII to clear up all the confusion the singer, bass, and trumpeter of catch 22 started a new band which was streetlight manifesto the songs were all toms(the singer) so they're not covers they're just being played with a different saxaphone player, drummer etc making them technically streetlight manifestos songs or really just toms if you want to get technical thats why i hate it when catch tries to play songs from keasby nights because...they barely wrote it and the singer didnt write

  • @smokadagonja23

Yeah I suppose if your play Keasbey songs a decade later its like you are covering Streetlight because the only guy left in Catch 22 didn't actually write any of it. However, I've listened to both albums of Keasbey Nights and there is something I like more about the original. It sounds more raw or something.

  • quite dance-able O.o

  • kinda makes me feel like dancin' ..........no fuck kinda, IM DANCIN! lol fuckin love this shit!

  • "It Fuckin' Stinks in Here!"

  • this is my favorite song

  • This song reminds me of the Saints Row the third "Power" trailer.

  • i didnt know they allowed porn on youtube

  • @cwestcott5796 best comment ever.

  • The day I quit my job, I'm gonna look my boss in the eye, quote the chorus to him, and watch him shit a brick.

  • @HoundofOdin just have them play it for your boss as you hand him your resignation

  • This was soooo much better when they were Catch 22. Catch got pretty shitty after the lead singer split and made Streetlight, but the whole Keasbey Nights album was shittons better with the original Catch lineup.

  • @LeftoverCakes catch 22 sucks hard there is honestly no reason to listen to them anymore listen to rocky or any of their new songs and you'll get what i mean :p

  • @TheIzaBE lol you see that comment everywhere xD but its still an awesomee comment and her dick really shouldnt be there :o

  • "it fuckin stinks in here" hahaa

  • Well fuck me I was slightly wrong same lead singer sue me ..

  • @sickboy5284 it kind of matters XD like he's the writer for both bands

  • I honestly don't care There both Amazing .. I mean its slightly different and singer thats about it both just as amazing so yeah!

  • I like the catch 22 version better

  • I honestly think this and Catch 22's version sound EXACTLY the same. Except for just ONE difference. This is somehow waaaaaaay catchier.

  • @inanimateanimation Catch's is a lot more slow and a lot "rawer" sounding :P

  • @iddtelyoubut that's why i like both versions. i like the raw sound more, but i also like it more fast paced. great song no matter which band's version it is though.

  • @giraffeman97 Disappoint* ... *shrugs* :)

  • does anyone even know how catch 22 is basically streetlight manifesto? or are people just enjoying the arguing.

  • when they come for me, ill be sitting at my desk with a gun in my hand and a bulletproof vest singin' "my, my, my how the time does fly when you know you're gonna die by the end of the night"... best song ever.

  • i love this band

  • Streetlight's Version > Catch 22's

  • i never listened to this shit till my bf showed it to me and now i love it :D

  • Catch 22's version it's much better that this newschool shit

  • Half of Streetlight Manifesto is catch 22

  • thumbs up for this version

  • i love the drum solo its the best part in this song

  • both catch 22 and streetlights sound almost identicle to me exept for alot for harmonizing

  • streetlight is way better then catch 22

  • ska dosent get enough recognition

  • awesome song

  • catch22's album of this whole album is better

  • I agree with weloveLandSERJ. :)

  • "it fucking stinks in here" LMFAO

  • SKA rules!!!!!!

  • its not a cover if its by the person who wrote it.

  • imagine sitting in a desk at your office you can hear the police rushing up the stairs. they finally arrive in your office and an epic fight ensues. all the while this song is playing.

  • @dinsteho I would have all that happen, but as soon as they kick the door in, I would hit the lights.

  • @dinsteho can u imagine sitting on ur desk with gun in ur hand wearing a bullet proof vest singing "my, my, my how the time does fly when you kno ur gonna die by the end of the night say hey"

  • @dinsteho what have u been doing that u imagine the police raiding u? lol

  • @LtFrightful As a matter of fact they play this song in the middle of Point/Counterpoint when they do it live.

  • @jwboyd85652 Awesome!!!

  • Eargasm much?

  • Lol Double post, oops

  • Children, Children. It Does Matter Which Band you like more because Thomas, the man you sang and wrote the songs in the Keasbey Nights album for both bands, is in streetlight manifesto. And since the beautiful musical master is in Streetlight manifesto, they win. SUCK IT.

  • Children, Children. It Does Matter Which Band you like more because Thomas, the man you sang this and wrote the song for both bands, is in streetlight manifesto. And since the beautiful musical master is in streetlight manifestp they win. Suck It.

  • my favorite number :D tatataaadadadada!!

  • i usually listen to metal but i love a bit of ska. love how these songs sound like old british folk songs but sped up lol

  • Dude im like that i loved Slipknot well i still do but i love ska way more and i still listen to metal

  • Who came first? SM or C22? I like SM better though.

  • @histerix555

c22, your not serious are you?

  • @histerix555 its the same singer. so who cares. and catch 22 was first.

  • Skawesome

  • not to be a dick but, zigg you sound like a pussy But this song is sick.

  • if you're not trying to be a dick then why did you say it in the first place? my goodness people these days think they can justify being assholes by putting no offense or not to be a dick before whatever they say.

  • lets all just be friends and appreciate the song we all decided to listen to

  • @zigg191 Sir, that might have been the most intelligent thing I've read on this damn website. 15 words... Your like a modern time Gandalf...

  • @imabadexample1 grazie dude.

  • I like the rawness of the Catch 22 version. Both versions are sick, but I prefer the Catch 22 version. And if I get scorned via youtube for having a different opinion than everyone else here, then thats just fucking weak.

  • idc that youve got a diffrent opinion rofl

  • i totally think streetlights pwns but cath 22's is good to ..just a change of rythm in the vocals..like em both!! hopefully ur opinion is respected and so is mine CHEERS!!

  • btw thumbs up 4 your name!

  • nice name and by the way u stole ur comment from me.

  • is this a concept album??

  • No? Why the hell would it be a concept Album?

  • because all the lyrics are repeat the same themes and seem to convey an on going story with each song

  • Tooo loud ...it;s distoted, Record it againn 1.2 the volmie

  • I adore this version. Awesome in concert

  • the diffrence is the singer and some of the lyrics in the beggening

  • actually, the main difference is the sound quality and the vastly-improved musicianship and timing by the band. It's cleaner and crisper than the original.

That said, it lacks some of the raw emotion of the original, so it all depends on one's mood as to which version will resonate with them better.

  • Same singer.

  • catch 22's is way better

  • they sound exactly the same

  • i totally agrree wtf is the difference?

  • am I the only one who likes this version better than Catch 22's ?

  • nope

  • nah...I like both, though, for different reasons. But I like this better for the more polished musicianship.

  • Comment removed

  • You're not alone

  • @weloveLandSERJ nah your not, I prefer streetlight manifestos version better.

  • @weloveLandSERJ I think the song is better faster and the bass line is waaaay better. Having played both, the Streetlight bassline is just waaay more beastly and fluid.

  • @weloveLandSERJ the singer for street light has a much better vioce

  • @Hugemcrunfast1234 You are an idiot. The singer for Catch 22 is the same in Strretlight

  • @weloveLandSERJ

    Quite obviously not.

  • @weloveLandSERJ no i like it much better

  • @weloveLandSERJ

This version is good, I prefer the Catch 22 version

  • @Caturdayz

Cathc 22 kicked kalnoky put of the band then continued to use his matrial, they suck!

  • @giraffeman97 No you idiot. Kalnoky had to go to college so he quit. All of the songs from Catch 22 were property of Kalnoky since HE wrote them and HE sang them. He formed his own band afterwards in which he re-made the songs that he said were "Garbage" and put time into his music this time. So please get your facts straight instead of blurting out some trash that will knock straight back at you.

  • @OmegaPoultry

sorry, get off your period geez

  • @giraffeman97 That the best you can come up with? Please, reply and embarrass yourself more.

  • @OmegaPoultry

I'm sorry to diassapoint you, but unlike some people I dont spend my time thinking of witty remarks/ comebacks to throw at people every time they say something inaccurate, get chastised then asked for something better... Sorry. *shrugs* :)

  • @giraffeman97 That doesn't excuse such a pitiful comeback.

  • @angryguy306 Who the hell are you to comment on my arguement???!!! It's half-way my conversation, so i'll say whatever I want to to the other party involved

  • @weloveLandSERJ Yes :) hah jk I like em both

  • I FUCKING LOVE YOU TOMAS!!!

  • "it fuckin stinks in here" LOL

  • hahahaha <3

  • Really prefer the Catch 22 version xD Not Ska enough. Needs more trumpet ^_^ I don't really like the vocalist, too. And it sounds like, over-produced.

  • *same vocalist as Catch

  • Same vocalist (Tomas Kalnoky), by the way.

  • Yeah, some one else mentioned that. Still, it sounds a lot different in this version. I really do love the Catch 22 version more.

  • Oh sorry, that other response wasn't right under yours earlier. Youtube displays responses strangely sometimes. But I agree it sounds different; Catch 22 was in 98 and Streetlight was in 06, so I guess his voice just changed.

  • ha ha its the same vocalist

  • what do you mean you don't like the vocalist... ? it's the same dude that sang this for Catch... Haha.

  • Why does the album version sound so much different than the music version

  • street light fucking rules

  • its more like punk and not ska:D

  • not ska enough. i guess i like the original too much
