  • anyone know where this was?

  • I love the fact that folk still ask what the crowd are chanting after the Dubliners. No dou bt you will explain again.

  • The one and only Paddy Reilly - one of the all-time greats of traditional Irish music. Last I heard he is retired in Naples, FL.

  • does anyone know who that is singing? and does he still tour with the dubs?

  • @jallen9343 This is Paddy Reilly who was the lead singer for the Dubliners at the time of this recording. He left The Dubliners in 2005, sadly and was replaced by Patsy Watchorn. They are touring the country at the moment, and are appearing at the Theatre Royal Norwich on March 12th ( a few seats left) where I shall be seeing them. Yippee!

Paddy Reilly is the the singer on this. The song is from 2002, their 40th reunion. Hope Paddy and Jim will be joining the group in 2012 for the 50th reunion. (All of us are too young to be remembering how long they have been together!)
