  • WTF is a 419?

  • I love reading those 419 letters.

  • America is the most 419 country, bitches

  • Ogah you've been duped!

  • OOHH ! everybodyy shutup and just listen to the song. This is not history class to be talking about all dis. So keep quiet before i go get da fufu stick . MScheww

  • This is lovely

  • i love this song and Nkem is one of my fave artist of all time. i love that movie he did about akawo business..he is top class and in a class of his own.

  • This is the soundtrack for a movie...just letting critics know.

  • @aponkye1001

If we use our RICH LAND for our own profits and we work together as one African Nation we would be far more stronger and respectable such as China. The UN. would beg us to join them but Africas Government must stop corruption and old hatered first. We need remarkable social involved and structurat people to lead Africa forward not people that draw outer hatred on our nation due to provicative and controversial diverstions. Like Nkem and some others are doing.

  • @00eta Before you start wishing we were like China, take a proper look at the country. We in Africa have more freedoms than they do. Their workers/average citizens work many hours for miniscule amount of money. Thats why western corporations run there. There's also corruption in every government, they just hide it better (check the shell-Dick Cheney controversy...he was the US VP btw). And yes, that's why we need people like Nkem...to make us laugh and for a moment forget our worries.

  • @aponkye1001 Well before you put criticts on my comment, lets compare the historical achievement of Nkem with that of Kofi Annan. What has Nkem achieved thatus know outside Africa and outside black afrikans???? I was not talking about the power or the political effects. I was refering to the recognition of Africans in the West as respectable and equal. The fact that Africa doesnt have much Veto rights is due to OUR greedy, selfish and naive Governments.

  • Comment removed

  • @00eta the power and political effects matter less than the West's view of us. I think that system of thought is sad. Whether the West sees us as equals or respectable does not change who we are. We define ourselves. Political effects and power matter more because they affect the people. BTW, it seems you know little about the UN. The reason we don't have veto power is because we were not part of the creators of the UN, nor have the money or military power.

  • Much love to the scammers, and I am from the West! Chop the mugus!

  • SATIRE! people SATIRE!! go and research on it before you twist your knickers in a knot. I love this song!

  • I soooo remember this video, classic!!!

  • In Nigeria , music scam you :)

  • LOOOL omggg stoop this! Ahahah , I remember a few years ago me, my bro and mom heard the song in a movie (Osoufia in London?) then we found an actual music video for it online and we laughed foreveer and would dance along to it.. feels like it was just yesterday but at the same time such a long time ago :\

This brings back memories.. I miss these days soooo much! :(

  • 419 IS JUST A GAME AND EVERYBODY DEY PLAY AM lol..this guy rocks oo

  • If we were to talk about the pride of Africa we would have Nelson Mandela as great sample for freedom in Afrika and Kofi Annan as one of the African representing the UN. A idividual like Nkem who did not contribute nothing historicaly important does not count as Africs Pride. Several African will agree with me.

  • @00eta Kofi annan was a western puppet. He did not achieve anything and further the u.n. is crap as long as some countries have more rights or vetos than others. Do your reasearch well before you go putting people down.

  • @fomab 1st HE IS NOT AFRICA'S PRIDE!!!!!! Why would an idividual like him who is not even known to over 65% of african population be the pride of Africa!!! Some people know him and respect him does not that he is a significan role modle for Africa. The Fact is that U cannot generalise 4 da whole Africa. This Man is NOT the PRIDE OF AFRICA!!! And 65% of Africans would aggree. Just because he is successful in what he is doing doesnt make him the Nations Pride.

  • @BaateeOOOhBaatee what kind nonsensed, self centered & false statement is that??? How come u speak 4 africa in general, who told u that this Man is a idol of Africa? How come u think dat he is the most successful in Africa? When U&UR ppl speak, SPEAK 4 URSELF. Every African Country got their own idols and heros U as a Nigerian CANNOT speak 4 da whole Africa dat this man is our #1 Idol. If ya dont belive me go ask other Africans, some dont evn know him. U Nigerians speak 4 UR OWN COUNTRY!!!!!!

  • @00eta Wow. Do you even know how to read? The person you replied to NEVER stated that Nkem Owoh is the #1 idol of Africa, or that he is the most successful in Africa. What he said was that he is Africa's pride, a metonymy to express that many people in Africa are proud of him as an actor. Certainly not all Africans know him, not even all Nigerians would know him, but a significant proportion know him including my Ghanaian and Kenyan friends, and many of those who do respect him as an actor.

  • Please Nkem deserve respect for this music. It is not easy to be a famous actor and now a famous musician too. By the way about this 419,why should anybody pay to claim a lottery he did not apply for? Most victims keep it secret so that they will keep the money alone. They only start talking when they loose their money.Pls stop blaming Nigerians. Why not contact ur Embassy before sending that secret money? MUGU.U want to claim secret millions.Greedy people.

  • My shit hahaha

  • @betteryeti, you must an hypocrite. Do jugde American actors as well when they engage in roles that demonstrate violence or drug- related circumstances? Let's get real and leave Nkem alone. He's a movie actor- period. He can sublime into any character that he feels like.

  • @LACraig621, I don't know whether you were a victim or your close relative was, but the truth of the matter is that it's wrong. What I'm stressing though is your generalization. I've lived in States for 16years, and I must say that no one here in the States will even look at me twice if I offer a business proposal, so why do people answer these fraudsters who live thousands of miles away? Americans do not play with their money in such manner, but still some of them fell victims to these scammers

  • @LACraig621, I'm not making a case for these scammers, but tell me which one is still slightly better between a violent crime that's been committed by both African Americans and Caucasians and theft? Every country has its issues. There are least 700,000 Nigerians that live in the States, and you've only met 10. There are 150million Nigerians altogether. That's not even close for you to draw that conclusion. Most of them are medical and legal professionals.

  • @LACraig621, I responded to your comment exactly what you put out there. Now talking about scams and all that by Nigerians, yes there are so many dubious Nigerians. That said, I can categorically tell you that I'm also scared of African Americans as well. Even though they might not dupe you, but they are extremely violent. Both Caucasians and African Americans commit violent crimes that either take people's lives or leave an everlasting scare. You have only met 10 Nigerians?

  • @LACraig621, and African Americans don't stink? How many Nigerians have you met in your lifetime before you drew such irrational conclusion? That's pure ignorance right there, and that's the more reason blacks lag behind in virtually everything. I hope you won't come out tell me that you ain't African American though.

  • @femmy321 I met 10 niggerians in my life, they all were scandolous and they all stank. But instead of you critizing me about telling the truth about funky nigeria, why haven`t you said anything about them niggerians scamming lil old ladies and being proud of it. The niggerians have convinced themselves that the people they scam money from deserved it because they`re greedy. Who don`t want to invest their money to make money? Doesn`t make you greedy, makes you smart. Don`t trust the stinky nigers

  • @LACraig621 IDIOT!!!!!!! YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL..."NIGERIANS" that's how you spell it ....not that nonsense you put up there ....mumu

  • @cha53z You don`t get it dummy?

  • LACraig621, and African Americans don't? Please give me a break! How many Nigerians have you met in your lifetime before you drew an irrational conclusion like that? That's ignorance right there, and that's the more reason blacks in general lag behind in virtually everything.

  • what is mugu? someone pls help

  • @nowami1 "mugu" means dumb, stupid or crazy

  • Those niggerians don't care about getting back at the white man by scamming them, they try to scam all races including African Americans. My only problem with the niggerians is that rich or poor they all stink like hell.

  • @LACraig621 That is so offensive, I am just questioning your intelligence. That's like me saying that all Americans are gun-happy greedy businessmen. That is so wrong of you to make such an insane comment. Just freaking wrong of you dude to say that. Not cool at all.

  • @LACraig621 your PAPA your MAMA.....ALL OF UNA...YOUR BROTHER YOUR SISTER DAE SMELL.....

  • 419 is just a game

  • 55 Mugu's Got Their Dollar Chopped!

  • All I know is that I love my life here in the USA and I feel sorry for those dirty pathetic Africans who scam money from people who are willing to send them money. So my response To any 419 person out there God will punish those who lie and cheat. Why not educate yourselves and get out of that shit-hole country of yours and live a decent life. Those guys remind me of dope dealers here in the states. They are the poison of our society.

  • @stoned210 fuck you

  • @stoned210 na u sabi....u mumu rish dem scam u

  • i hate scammers end want to kill them all but he is right its a song end a lesson!!!!

  • heey its ukwa

  • Love this song

  • any greedy fool who gives out their banking details because they are been "offered " a "once in a lifetime opportunity" to divest themselves of their cash are GREEDY BUGGERS full stop . nobody gives out their personal details like that , as for e mail addresses you invest in anti scamming internet protection .. so who is the "mugu" who is the "master " here..? its not rocket science..

  • @IntolerantAtheist1 greed is what the scammed are all about , and it is that greed that makes them victims.. funny enough, when "oyinbo man " does his own scamming its called "recession" ..

  • the title is funny but i love the song

  • @Ardi6101983 lol u must be a whiteboy?

  • @creolelady Yeah ok I got u,but how the money go and what is "scammer"?

Can u tell me pls? But don't think I'm a mugu.

  • @Ardi6101983 ur a cunt!!

  • 419 means what?

  • @Dillinger497 means your money is gonna line the ass of Nigeria lmao

  • @Dillinger497 419 is a section of the niggerian penal code that makes it a crime to scam money by false pretenses over the internet.

  • oyibo people dem greedy...hahhahahahhhaaaa

  • this man as going craszy men yoo ahahahahaha

  • fuuny enuf... OYIBO MAN I DEY CHOP UR DOLLAR....just jokin ooo..

  • Osofiafia... Hope u sef neva join 419 o. Because this your song somehow shows the state of your mind.. jajaja.

A great artist though, carry goooooooo

  • lmaoo I love this song/the movie. However, 419 is something that goes on NOT ONLY IN NIGERIA BUT ALL OVER THE WORLD. Just like people associate 419 business with Nigeria/ African countries, HUMAN TRAFFICKING/ DRUG TRADE IS ASSOCIATED WITH AMERICA/SOUTH AMERICA/EUROPE. The sad thing is that BULLSHIT AND ILLEGAL SHIT HAPPENS EVERYWHERE. So all you judgmental bitches need to SHUT THE HELL UP.

  • @GabbyCash that makes no sense. I will judge and be rascist to any nigger I want.

  • @Vince13192 Okay you keep up with that. DUMBASS.

  • @Vince13192 It didn't make sense to you because you're dimwitted. Even a dog would understand that statement. Go back to school and get yourself an education. You're too stupid to function in society.

  • @GabbyCash Aren`t you judging too asshole?

  • @LACraig621 Lol ahaha asshole? OKAY bastard. *my feelings are soooooo NOT hurt* And no I'm not judging. I'm simply pointing out the obvious. Do you think scamming exists only in Nigeria? America/ Europe and other countries ARE NOT PERFECT EITHER. So maybe you should grab a magnifying glass and examine your shit properly fucktard.

  • @GabbyCash Lets see, i check all my junk mail almost everyday, and everyday there`s some smelly Niggerians offering me money for money. Not just me but almost everyone i know. So my Niggerian i just call them as i see them. Niggerians so damn lazy and smelly that i think it effects the way they think. And so the fuck what if other countries use scamming operation too, i don`t get scam mail from nobody but stinking, ignorant, and lazy Niggerians. PS: Wash your ass.

  • if your goal is to judge an entire nation based on a few incidents then thats your problem and you will be the loser. God is the one to judge not you.

  • @ShikeoFujiwara no it is niggerians . other videos show that the people of niggeria look up to and support the 419 men

  • I have spent the past 10 years in Internet cafes around Africa where young Ghanaians and Nigerians indulge in online scams. Technically, the internet fraud industry as it is today is not absolutely criminal. Everything must be judged on a case-by-case basis.

Most of these scammers propose criminal activities to their victims. These victims attempt to invest in these schemes in the 'legally lose' continent that their forefathers picked slaves from and they are duped. So who is to be blamed?

  • IF U ARE NOT AFRICAN U WONT UNDERSTAND THIS SONG SO SUCK UR DICK AND SHUT UP

  • I DONT APPRECIATE WAT U SAID

  • the text of this song is NONSENSE

  • the only thing i care about is the beat im not listening to the words

  • lol why is this such a big deal? most black people in other countries listen to gangster rap which doesnt exactly have the best message...

  • HAHAHHAHA what is this sooofunny

  • I enjoyed Mr. Owoh's commedies but I don't like this song because it portrays a bad image of Nigeria. We are not all scammers.

  • @stevephemmy

    "We are not all scammers".

    Typical scammer talk.

  • @meric2 : "Nigerians are all scammers" TYPICAL MUGU TALK

  • For those who don't know this artist, Mr.Owoh is a respected, talented, famous, well educated and wealthy African movie star like Danzel Washington who's also an artist

This artist acted in the African movie called for 419, he's translating into music.

Yes, there are lessons to be learned and that's the sole purpose. The actor does not support or engages in scam nor did he get his wealth from scamming people. He's Africa's pride, a premium and very famous African actor Africans love.

  • @BaateeOOOhBaatee Nigerian comedian and actor Nkem Owoh was one of the 111 suspected 419 scammers arrested in Amsterdam recently as part of a seven month investigation, dubbed Operation Apollo.

  • @BaateeOOOhBaatee Um, the song sure seems like an endorsement of 419 scams. And if your beloved actor is actually interpreting a character in the context of a larger work, well, nobody is making that the least bit clear. My takeaway from this video is going to be the same as millions of others who viewed it: Nigerian 419 bandits are amoral scum, and we need to protect the world from them at any cost. African pride? Um, I can think of better ways to promote that.

  • I can't beleive the Interpol were monitoring this guy once upon a time. He's a movie actor for goodness sake! It's like scrutinizing DW for being a notorious cop in "Training Day".

  • I don't know what the fuss about this song is. Its just a sound track about a movie meant to raise awareness about the act of 419 that everyone obviously deplores. There is a reason why they used the character from the movie as suppose to the artist himself. In case you haven't seen the movie, it is called The Master. I personally enjoyed the movie because they used comedy to address this topic.

  • lmfao i didnt kno nkem owoh sang omg!

  • 2:36 to 2:47 :)

  • naija de show fiya

  • *Sigh* let me run this by you agin. if someone emails you that they have however many millions of dollars that you can claim, just delete the message and move on. Maybe if you were smart enough to do that, scammers would give up and find another job. Unfortunately Mugus(white people) dont seem to understand this concept and use it a reason to be racist against Nigerians. if we r the lesser race, then how did we scam u of ur money. not condoining their behavior, im just saying be smart.

  • @shulternuctin I thought Oyibo was the term given to foreigners

  • loooooooool mad tune

  • Prison version ,I go bust your arsehole

  • @TVCSD

Can you not write such disgusting things like that please

  • i dont understand the language of my black ppl . . . BUT THIS IS BEAUTIFUL:)

  • @nappyg1 'Chop' in Nigerian Pidgin English means 'eat'

  • @kmfw72 thanks

  • Craigslist should require all sellers to watch this video before they post an item online.

  • i dnt understand why so much argument. WHAT IS UR EXCUSE 4BEING STUPID AND FALL 4MUGU ???? can someone control ur brain???? no one put hand in ur pocket and take ur money,u give it. am tired reading on every video same things.if u want 2do something do it in real life u r not changing anything if u show ur hate here...yeye ppl

  • @xxxemoneyxxx, nice dream cracker...go ahead and just try asshole!

  • nice one

  • Also, speeches were given by the real oil lady & NKEM OWOH's character in pointing out lessons on it. Mr. OWOH is NOT a criminal nor is he promoting 419! He is making fun of the stupidity of falling for get-rich quickies for satire & pointing out the HYPOCRISY of the WEST for doing the same. HE ISN'T IN PRISON like some are blindly claiming, he's currently burying his mother who died in January at 90. He is a wealthy actor & comedian, while you are poor & bitter over crimes he hasn't committed.

  • As a result, Ifeanyi, rats on him to the police chief. The p. chief stupidly doesn't suspect Ifeanyi of being a 419er. When Dennis enters the airport leaving for London the POLICE CHIEF & Nigerian FEDERAL AGENTS spot & arrest him at GUNPOINT in front of crowds of people. Dennis is lead away in HANDCUFFS & likely sent to PRISON for 419. His last scenes are of him entering a COURT HOUSE. Does this sound like PROMOTING 419? NOPE. CLEARLY THIS MOVIE & MVD WERE MADE TO TEACH LESSONS of 419's PERILS.

  • The "American" goes to the police & they attempt to track "Chief Okwotokenezie" Before Dennis scammed this guy out of $10M, when picking him at the airport in a convoy he was being warned by Ifeanyi(419er) via cell phone to obey the 419 boss' orders of paying him 20% per scam or else Dennis would be killed or suffer for it. Dennis refuses to obey & hangs up. Dennis continues to pretend to be "King of Nigeria" & the guy believes it until 2 weeks later going the oil chairwoman & demanding money.

  • Dennis(PROTAG) after being evicted, buys a mansion for himself & successfully scams another set of Nigerians out of money & then at last an "American"(I don't think he was) out of $10M. The "American guy goes to a Nigerian Oil office & demands the lady in charge to give him $400M. She claims he was scammed. He begs her for help, while he stupidly calls all Nigerians scammers & rogues, which sets her off & she puts his stupid self in place by speaking of his greed & intent to deceive.

  • The movie shows Nkem Owoh's impoverished character of Dennis being scammed by a 419er posing as an Ivorian, who disappears with his $700. Dennis is threatened with eviction by his brother & later spots the 419er in town, reporting him to the police w/o success. The same 419er is a millionaire & lures poor Dennis into scamming a Nigerian businessman of $250K. Like the mafia, he does several jobs for this man & eventually becomes a millionaire. His brother Benji is disgusted & disowns him.(cont'd)

  • People really need to stop bringing their ignorant selves to this video as it is clearly satire and is intentionally taken completely out of context. Ever heard of SOUNDTRACK? Find a genuine video promotion of 419 to complain about 419 and stop embarassing yourselves on a comedian's music video. From what I remember, this video came from a movie which told the story of the perils of 419. For goodness sakes this movie came out 7 years ago, which is 3 years short of a decade. GET OVER IT!

  • Love dis song

  • lmfao..long live nkem owoh ...i love dis guy!

  • @Sandinobobo you're evil for loving someone like this monkey and those that scam innocent people.

  • @amnah10000 Innocent people are being scammed, greedy ass people are. How much money did you lose?

  • @kromen10 I didn't lose anything but I get those emails almost every single day, and each time I reply cursing these idiots. When I was in high school I got an email like that and I almost fell for it. I even called the person and I almost gave my account number but I thought why would they chose me and not someone else, perhaps a family member so I didn't go with it. Also those that say Americans are greedy for thinking they're gonna get millions of dollars.

  • @amnah10000 I've seen too many of these emails to know that there is no way that an honest person is going to help a banker transfer millions of dollars that belonged to a dead prince or a family that died in a plan crash, so they could get a cut. True, there are many old people that get scammed by the BOA or Ebay account verification, but I'm referring to those that think millions of ill-gotten dollars are for the taking. They can kick rocks.

  • @kromen10 I coudn't agree more... What's more upsetting is that these thugs are treated like heroes in their country, which sad...

  • @kromen10 I don't think any sane person would refuse millions of dollars. I think the ones that fall for this are usually older people :(. Sad.

  • @amnah10000 yes it is very often old people who get emails like

" bank of america, we need to very your information or you will lose your account'" it is on official looking paper. many old people cannot get out easily and are trying to learn banking online. who are the greedy people? some how the niggerian criminals are not greedy?

  • @Commonsense11111 I don't understand what you're saying. The criminals and the greedy bastards are those Nigerian thugs and not the innocent Americans that fall for this. No one will refuse millions of dollars...

  • @amnah10000 ok let me clarify. i agree that the Niggerians are criminals. i am saying that not all of their scams are playing on greedy people. my mom got a very official looking email with her bank's logo on it, asking for some information. it said that someone had tried to hack into her account and the bank needed her to verify some stuff. i stoped her before she responded, but if she had been scammed, it would not have been because she was greedy.

  • @Commonsense11111 I agree with you, I wasn't saying those that are scammed are greedy, these Nigerians are their people are saying that, they only scam greedy Americans that think they'll get millions of dollars, even if that was the case they have no right to take anyone's money. It's very upsetting and makes me really angry their country isn't doing anything about this problem. I just wish more Americans were aware of this problem. It makes me very upset.

  • @amnah10000 internet scam is the third largest industry in niggeria. the government does not stop it because they like the flow of dollars into their country.

  • @Commonsense11111 If their government can't do anything about this problem then perhaps our government can deny any visa to their people, maybe then they'll think and do something about this dilemma...

  • @amnah10000 i think that the niggerian government should be held responsible for harboring criminals, and that our government should demand all of our victims money back. if BP had to pay people damages, why cant the oil rich niggerian government pay as well,. if not, then we can take their oil .

  • Is this the African version of a hold up??

  • @xxxemoneyxxx will you take you cave Caucasian ass out of this forum now before i CHOP YOUR DOLLAR?

  • am going to western union to go cash some oyinboman money now.

  • Bahahahahaha This guy was kidnapped by Nigerian Criminals and they freed him after his family paid a random of 1.3 million Niara.

  • WTF so this guy supports the Nigerian scammers? What an asshole.

  • i just like this song ......in a comic way.....hahaha

Come and try it and let's see if you gonna live to tell the story, monkey dick sucker.

  • @xxxemoneyxxx

LOL!! You haven't even succeeded in passifying Afghanistan, 10 years into the war. And that's with all NATO forces deployed and you think you're going to colonize Africa again? LOL!! That'll be your death knell. Never again will Europeans attack a country or continent without living in constant fear of reprisals at home. Gone are the days when you could bomb a distant country to smithereens and still live comfortably and fat without fear of retaliation in your homeland.

  • LMAO It would be hilarious if 419 scammers sent this video to the mugu after getting their money.

People are so sensitive though. Crime happens everywhere. Just try not to be an idiot and you'll be fine.

  • They is a truth in the song! When it comes to the black man ;it is a crime. But what is with the white man; when he does the same act?!

  • WAOW Osofia,im a cameroonian living in berlin,i didnt expect ur a great singer!Very great song,i do understand ur message,is also our business, but in other way.Iwatch more of ur videos on utube.Go ahead!

  • hahhahahaha thts sad... hahhahahahhaha nkem owoh!!!!! na wa ooo hahhah

  • lol dis man again?? hahhahahhahahahah

  • lol dis man again?? hahhahahhahahahah

  • Stealing is a sin. Only the non-christians, desperate, and impious behave like this. We obviously don't all commit fraud. Look at the horrible federal government, with all the oil we produce why is the middle class in Nigeria so small? People in my country WORK HARD! I wish someone could assassinate all of the bad leaders who put the country in such a bad light, but the network of corruption is so extensive and complex. We should have just divided during the Biafra War, have morals.

  • @lollipopyumyum

LOL!! That's quite a profound statement, aye? Were Crusaders "Christians"? Weren't ALL colonial enterprises done with the FIRM support of the Christian Church who wanted to "save the savages from themselves"? Were the pilgrim fathers of America and the settlers who followed them not all "bible thumping Christians" ? Weren't there "missionaries" on the ground in Africa when all the colonization and slavery was going on? Why didn't they warn the Africans about the slave ships?

  • He Says"When a WHITE man Scams You and wipe you dry" the White Man Calls it the GAME! But When Black Man Does the Same thing The White Man Calls it A CRIME! This is Pure Truth!Half of the maltreatment that black people get in the western world by white people is regarded normal but if it's the black man maltreating a white man in Africa they will find a big Criminal name for it! Black or White =God's Creation=One Love=One people=Peace:)!

  • Nigerians don't engage in any exclusive criminal activity, the problem is that there's just too many Nigerians. Nigeria has the largest assortment of black people on the face of the planet, nothing good can come of that.

  • Hey can someone explain to me exactly what is 419? I only know that 419 is something to do with Nigerian scams. Thanks

  • dude said all i wanted to say
